"The view from our room, any room in fact, looked out over the crashing waves that rolled in from the Indian Ocean. Biggest room weve had in Bali.The staff were ready to look after our every whim. They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."

We didn't like leaving.

All is a bit old but did not bother me !

"L'hôtel en cette saison au bord du Lac Inle est magique. Les chambres sont belles et la vue sur le sac est splendide. Le personnel est souriant et très professionnel. Le patron de l'hôtel à l'écoute et très réactif. A recommander"

Le prix reste un peu cher pour le Myanmar dans le contexte politique actuel même si il se comprend. Le confort du lit, matelas, était mauvais. Les coupures d'électricité durant tout un après-midi sont aussi à prendre en compte. Enfin les matelas et les serviettes autour de la piscine semblent une option.

Not enough umbrellas outside on tables

"Breakfast was excellent, staff was friendly, pools and sea possibility was truly excellent. Very big and safe place to be. Security was in very good level. Lovely site."

Only couple of persons spoke english. Several restaurants in hotel, but you could only book online with one. When you come to hotel everything is in spanish, luckily I had colleague who could speak spanish so he was able to translate how to book breakfast, lunches and dinners etc.

Our room was cold, Maintenance came to sort it out but he didn't really know much about the thermostat, said he sorted it and it won't take long to heat uo, but never did, wasn't ideal with a little baby, said baby was asleep by time we realised it wasn't heating up. A small blemish on what was otherwise a really nice stay.

Hotelul este minunat, curat, nu am ce reproșa. Dar pernele sunt îngrozitoare: mari și foarte înalte, nu te poți odihni deloc. În plus, am stat în camera 423 care a fost foarte zgomotoasă ( evacuarea aerului sau ceva legat de electricitate, nu am înțeles), iar asta ne-a făcut să nu ne odihnim foarte bine. De asemenea personalul hotelului mi s-a părut foarte steril în atitudine, destul de reci, cel puțin la check in nu am văzut niciun zâmbet pe chipul domnului de la recepție, în contradicție cu toată ospitalitatea poporului Iordanian. Se putea și mai bine pentru un hotel de 5*

"Absolutely fabulous resort in a spectacular location. Every staff member was welcoming and helpful. Special shout out to Sala, Shadow, and Papu! But really, everyone was great."

Nothing to not like.

"A good hotel with a decent and tasty breakfast served in an interestingly located restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's pleasantly cool in summer even during the heat, although there's no air conditioning. A special highlight is the mountain river flowing nearby — you can hear its sound at night. The location is truly excellent, especially convenient because the free shuttle bus stop is right next to the hotel. In the pool, the water is very warm, but it was impossible to use it — all the spots around the pool were constantly occupied."

"The location is the best. Easy access when arriving at Lac Rose. Most activities are located right in front of the hotel (horse/camel riding, quad rental to ride in the sand dunes, etc). The hotel is literally on the lake, with the terrasse and dining area built over the water."

Some items on the menu tasted like they were not fresh. The AC in the room was a bit underperforming and noisy. The lock on the glass door going to the balcony was broken and could not be locked.

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

"Exceptional staff that turn this hotel into an unforgettable getaway. The whole place truly transports you somewhere else. The staff, coming from all over the Caribbean, were incredibly warm and friendly, making our stay feel genuinely special. The owner was fantastic—always present, talking with us, sharing stories, and really bringing them to life. It has been a delightful trip and a wonderful stay. We travelled with kids and it was the perfect set up. There are no real windows (only blinds and mosquito nets), so when the kids got loud, the neighbors could hear us. However room ventilation is really good, as there is a nice breeze at night. The location is also very convenient, well connected to both the north and the south. The food was surprisingly very good for a 4 night stay, breakfast was delicious. The pool and surroundings are wonderful. Would stay here every time I go back to Dominica."

The beach sand was a bit uncomfortable with lots of rocks and twigs.

Nu mi a plăcut în camera mirosul de vechi care cu siguranță ar aduce un plus dacă s ar rezolva problema având în vedere ca personalul este exemplar la curățenie iar lenjeria la fel curată!

"Ne-a plăcut foarte mult hotelul și facilitățile lui; mâncarea a fost gustoasa și diversificata; nu am stat foarte mult, dar am putut sa ne dam seama ca sunt servicii bune; camera a fost mare și foarte curata; ne-a plăcut f mult faptul ca aveam pe hol dozator de apa și aparat de cafea;sezlongurile erau suficiente și curate; locurile de joaca , de asemenea, erau diversificate;"

apa din piscine era destul de rece și nu puteai sa faci baie; toboganele aveau un program destul de redus;

"Liostasi has absolutely made our honeymoon the most magical and comfortable experience. The rooms, the pool, the bar, the view, the spa, the food- all of it is fantastisc. The breakfast is one of the very best I have seen at a hotel. The restaurant is also one of the best/fanciest on Ios. The hotel is close to the port and the other restaurants and bars in Chora. They can also help with car rental so you can explore the island. But the real secret to Liostasi's success is the staff. The staff is wonderfully kind and caring, and willing to help with everything. The staff is the real gem of Liostasi if you ask me. So, if you have the opportunity to travel to Ios and stay at this hotel, do it!!!!!! You will not be disappointed!! Absolute must visit destination and hotel!"

No air conditioning in the beach bar. Mosquito can attack you easily 😅

"Excellent location, plenty of facilities on the grounds to choose from. Mambo beach was not too crowsded as we feared, and there was no construction in the area. Great customer service too, we appreciated the followup email asking if there is anything we need during our stay and our request was immediately granted."

Staff could have been a bit more friendlier, especially Hemingway/receptionists. Also there was a slight smell of mold in our room. You can pay in EUR, but not worth it since the change you will get back is in USD, hence losing money.

It was not easy to get service on the tables near the beach. The sun beds did not have cushions so were uncomfortable to lay on.

Bucatele la restaurant au fost relativ bune... Risotto cu ton a fost foarte sărat așa că a trebuit să-l întoarcem și sangria a fost "apușoară"... *Recomandare către bucătar - să nu săreze apa/bulionul pentru risotto pentru că săratul va fi conferit de parmigiano... **Recomandare baristei - sa studieze receta de sangria si să refuze sa o facă altfel P.s. vinărie fără vin fiert în meniu în perioada de iarnă e straniu... (dezamăgit în acest sens )

En el gimnasio no funcionaban las maquinas. La habitación está bien es limpia y cómoda pero se podría actualizar un poco la decoración. Por ser un resort en el precio podría estar incluido el desayuno

If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the layout — the bed is a bit close to the entrance door, which made the space feel slightly tight at times.
