"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

Restaurant choice was very limited but food was good

"Location is wonderful, feeling very close to pure nature. We love the swimming, sauna, hanging matt, beach and the hike around."

The cottage is really small and stuffy esp when it’s hot. window without mosquito net, thus we cannot leave it open in the nite, too much mosquitos and horse fly.

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

Pool was freezing in August. Covering at night would probably be enough. Food mediocre and breakfast choices disappointing. Price difference on rooms isn’t justified. They are all identical just the views are different.

"The property was maintained well. Unfortunately, at times there were dog poop in the walk way. Thankfully that was later cleaned, but I hope the dogs can be poop in the bushes and not where the guest walks."

The female owner was not helpful when asked for a meal/something to eat outside of the lunch hour. Also, at times she was overheard having loud fusses that could have been done in private when the guests were not around.

"Fantastic out of the way place but still close enough to civilisation for everything you may need. Great facilities & all you require for a stay away. Got some good help about getting to the property & a nice welcome from Siobhan."

"A wonderful small house in a quiete place. Not a big one but equipped very well with all necessary kitchen appliances including a dishwasher. There is also a nice terrace outside with a barbeque place. Everything was very clean, the house is very cozy"

"We just had a 3 night stay here. The cottage is very unique - little rustic with a lot of character . We enjoyed the full kitchen and were able to cook great meals and enjoyed eating outside on the large wrap around deck. You feel like you’re in a treehouse and very secluded. Yet you’re very close to the beach and town. We loved the big spacious bathroom and having hot water was a bonus! Jac-Luc was a great host and communicated well ensuring we were comfortable and had what we needed. We felt it was great value for money and would recommend and we’d stay again."

"Nice hostel, a good choice if you are on a budget in Mestia. You can easily meet other trekkers. Quiet place, nice kitchen, clean bathroom with nice shower, big balcony + space outside."

"Gazdele sunt oameni minunați, de o blândețe și o generozitate extraordinare. M-am simțit ca acasă, înconjurat de propria mea familie. În fiecare clipă a șederii mele acolo, s-au preocupat să nu-mi lipsească nimic și să mă simt bine, mi-au facilitat legătura cu barcagiul care mi-a asigurat în fiecare dimineață și în fiecare după-amiază deplasările pe lac, atât pentru fotografii la răsărit și la asfințit, cât și pentru vizitarea satelor situate de jur-împrejurul lacului."

Nu există aspecte negative ale șederii mele în această locație.

"The room was beautiful opening up to a sea view. Could go kayaking from just outside the room. The lodge had kayaks and life jackets available to guests. Could also go fishing or swimming - just idyllic! The staff were also really helpful. I would most definitely stay here again."

I can’t think of anything i didn’t like

"Quiet, green, uncomformist to the Italian onslaught in the rest of Watamu, wel kept, and very kind personel. Plus great breakfast."

The fans could use an update.

"I stayed at Little Garden House and found it to be a charming and comfortable place, especially suitable for cyclists or other travelers looking for a peaceful stop. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

"Poziționarea este fantastica . Ești rupt de realitatea , auzi doar greierii care încetează când apune soarele , de sus din balcon priveliștea îți taie respirația. Piscina Ok, tot complexul este plin de flori , vegetație si pisici drăgălașe. Mâncare atât micul dejun cât si cina foarte bune. Bucătarului nota 10 , tradiționala mâncarea."

Cabanele sunt vechi clar , am trecut cu vederea nu am stat decât 3 zile , dar probabil dacă stai mai mult intri intr o depresie , când te miști pe bacon ai senzația ca se rupe lemnul , scaunele , mobilierul destul de vechi. Dacă nu ești venit cu mașina , ești blocat acolo , pana la plaja cu mașina 10 min , se putea și pe jos dar nu am fost curioasa , pe caldura aia intr o așa vegetație , nu exista nici un magazin in apropiere din care sa ți cumperi ceva , totul de la proprietar de la bar.
