Cabane în Madagascar

"The host was super friendly and helpful! He helped us arrange room bookings further up the trek and even managed to get us direct flight tickets from Lukla to Kathmandu. Everything went really smoothly — would definitely recommend this place!"

"Poziționarea este fantastica . Ești rupt de realitatea , auzi doar greierii care încetează când apune soarele , de sus din balcon priveliștea îți taie respirația. Piscina Ok, tot complexul este plin de flori , vegetație si pisici drăgălașe. Mâncare atât micul dejun cât si cina foarte bune. Bucătarului nota 10 , tradiționala mâncarea."

Cabanele sunt vechi clar , am trecut cu vederea nu am stat decât 3 zile , dar probabil dacă stai mai mult intri intr o depresie , când te miști pe bacon ai senzația ca se rupe lemnul , scaunele , mobilierul destul de vechi. Dacă nu ești venit cu mașina , ești blocat acolo , pana la plaja cu mașina 10 min , se putea și pe jos dar nu am fost curioasa , pe caldura aia intr o așa vegetație , nu exista nici un magazin in apropiere din care sa ți cumperi ceva , totul de la proprietar de la bar.

Pool was freezing in August. Covering at night would probably be enough. Food mediocre and breakfast choices disappointing. Price difference on rooms isn’t justified. They are all identical just the views are different.

"The mountains scenery and the serenity of the place make Le massif de Laqlouq an ideal getaway. During our stay, we felt we are well taken care of; the staff was constantly checking upon us and assisting us with any request."

A perfect, relaxing destination.

"This magical place in the hills is owned and run by Thierry who puts a great deal of care, detail and consideration into his guest's stay. His love of the land, plants and animals is evident. Thierry gave us a tour of the property plus an amazing breakfast which included a whole tasting activity with different jams and chocolate / cheese spreads ! The bed was very comfortable. We loved the jucazzi at night whilst stargazing We enjoyed relaxing in the morning looking out over the view."

Please note if you are walking it is a steep climb back up the hill.

"Beautiful lodge with individual rooms overlooking the park and landscapes. Everything is pleasantly decorated and very comfortable, with friendly staff and super delicious food. Individual room was small yet nice, with comfortable bed and great balcony to sit back on and overlook nature, very peaceful. Shower was hot and great pressure, and good Wifi connection too. Only stayed one night, could’ve stayed longer. Highly recommended."

Malheureusement été déçus par le jacuzzi qui ne fonctionnait pas. C'est le point qui nous a le plus dérangés et qui a gâché le séjour car j'ai payé un supplément pour profiter de cette option avec mes enfants cela devait être une surprise. Je tiens tout de même à remercier le membre du personnel qui a tenté de faire une réparation. Malgré ses efforts et sa bonne volonté, le problème n'a pas pu être résolu. C'est dommage de ne pas avoir pu en profiter durant notre séjour.

"Quiet, green, uncomformist to the Italian onslaught in the rest of Watamu, wel kept, and very kind personel. Plus great breakfast."

The fans could use an update.

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"Great for family, location was great all shopping center close by, supermarket and Mall. It felt like home l."

The wifi service wasn't not getting it in the apartment have to go out side.

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

toilet facilities were not good, requires immediate update

"Very well situated , our room was spacious , nice balcony and a view of the river. Resteraunt on site was very nice and staff friendly and helpful."

Toilet was not flushing properly , but not much of a problem.

"Staff were very accommodating, breakfast was great and we felt it was priced very well."

Unfortunately there weren’t enough cots but they ensured when we came back a couple of days later there was one for us. Perhaps a few more cots are needed.
