"Lovely big room with nice shower room. View over rooftops to the harbour and sea. Selfcatering kitchen was a commercial style facilities so a little of a challenge to use."
"Not concerning the hotel. The only restaurant in town accepted our booking for a Tuesday night but didn't open that Tuesday. They did respond to messenger and apologised saying they had forgotten they were closed on Tuesdays!"
"Awesome room, the biggest I had in Iceland and the private bathroom was something I really enjoyed after all the shared ones. Lovely to sleep by the water!"

"Coming from Taiwan, I love remote small towns. There aren't many people here, and they're so friendly. We cooked our own meals, and it felt like we were living here. It was wonderful. The beer baths were a two-minute walk away, which was a wonderful experience. At night, we even saw the Northern Lights from our chairs next to the hotel! If you like a quiet, light-free spot, this is a great choice! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. :)"

"The village is tiny and dominated by a small brewery and a beer spa with bistro. This unmanned hotel has large rooms with comfortable beds, and quite a lot of space for dining, which is not used. That said, the spa and breweries are musts, and if the bistro is not open the Eyra restaurant, two villages towards Akureyri, is exceptional."
