"It was truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The golden grass, surrounding mountains, and horses created such a picturesque and peaceful atmosphere — it felt like paradise. The house itself is small but very cozy and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would love to come back!"

"Its a very nice tent located next to a old style guesthouse with some huts. Thw facilities are great, but old, and it has charm and has everything you would need."

It both a plus and i minus, but we didn't talk with anyone there and it felt like we where 100% by ourselves, no staff around. But we just walked up to the tent and left in the morning, and it worked out. There also is only one shower, and as other guest had mentioned it looks like it's mens only, but just lock the main door when using it, it's actually a really good shower.

"The location was amazing. Right in the heart of Reykjavík and close to all shops and restaurants. The apartment was spacious for 5 people and it was clean. The communication with the staff was excellent as they provided as with all the necessary info for an easy check in and check out and catch up with as if everything went smoothly."

The biggest bummer for us was the lack of proper shades: as the sun rises early in May, our sleeping was interrupted by the sun as the shades were not that sun blocking. Also, due to super sunny days while we were there, the apartment was EXTRA hot during noon-evening . Furthermore, the apartment was a bit worn out like many persons have used it over time and needed some attention/renovation. Lastly, street was quite busy.

"Great location, next to bus stop of free intercity buses, and across the road from the Hof Centre. Spacious apartment and beds were comfortable. Washing machine and dryer available. Great place for a big group, and the kitchen area was great for making own meals. Heating in all rooms making the apartment nice and cosy in the cold of Akureyri. Remember to bring your own toiletries. Just over 15 mins walk away from Krónan and Netto,"

Even though there was a machine washing, there was no washing powder/ detergent. I emailed the owner to refill the washing powder tin, but there was never a response nor was my request carried out. These next issues are minor but it would enhance the living experience even better: lighting in main living area were not bright enough, needed a floor bath towel, freezer needed defrosting, couple of windows in living area had blinds missing.

"We loved everything about the house. The beds were very comfortable and the living room has the most amazing view to the outside, perfect for seeing the northern lights (which we saw and they were beautiful). Having a complete laundry space was also very helpful and the hosts provided everything we needed for a nice stay. The host's dog became our friend since we arrived and it was lovely."

Nothing, everything was perfect.
