"Amazing spot overlooking a lake, a beautiful old hotel but well maintained and kept up to date inside. The staff were friendly and the room a decent size with big bathroom and a shared balcony."

The food was OK, Norway isn't noted for it's food and this was as you'd expect. Not bad, but not amazing either. Breakfast was a similar affair, OK, but nothing special.

We didn't have a car so restaurants were quite far in the cold, but the supermarket is very close by and very well equipped.

"The location is peaceful indeed and soo dreamy! Wonderful views, the house is comfy and cozy, it has all the amenities you can imagine (the first time I saw a shoe dryer which was very useful for our hiking boots that got wet), it is perfect for 3 people, a lot of space and very clean. One of the best accommodation we've ever had, we felt like we were in a Scandinavian movie. The price is also the best you can get. Lastely, we were warmly welcomed by Svein to whom we would like to thank once again!"

"If you want to go crosscountry skiing, it's perfect located. The sauna is great, the home in general very comfortable with a great view to watch the sunrise and sunset. Very well equipped kitchen, everything to our flavour. Highly recommended!"

"The view from our cabin was amazing and it’s just a few mins walk to the popular hamnoy viewpoint. The cabin is fully equipped with kitchenwares and we had a great time cooking and dining with the amazing view from our cabin. This is the best stay of my honeymoon trip to Norway!"

"The view from the apartment was fantastic. it was a small place, but had pretty much everything we needed. the bathroom was one of the best we had in our stay in Norway. Lots of shelf space, which is not something that we had experienced in Norway. Close to lots of walks in the area and an easy walk into the fishing village of Kabelvag"

Getting to the apartment was a bit tough. you needed to walk around the back of a house, then navigate an unpaved track (up a small hill) and then onto a bridge. This meant of course that the views were fantastic, but if you had mobility issues or very large luggage it could be hard to get in to.
