Swimming pool was closed for the four days I stayed there. Food options were limited but it was during Ramadan.

"What a joyful, lovely place!! I am not going to lie: it's in the middle of nowhere, and getting there is a whole adventure (especially if you get the wrong road) but once you reach, it's a fabulous place to be. The owners are so incredibly kind and helpful! They made everything possible and impossible to help us with our stay. We spent 3 nights and it seems we were the first ones to occupy the tent (I must say, the bed was HEAVENLY) so as you can imagine, it was spotless and shiny new. The tent is quite spacious and very comfy. There are two kitchens nearby (beautifully equippped with everything needed and classified rubbish bins) with electricity and plugs (in fact, this is the place to charge your phone). The toilets are also close by (and very clean) and the showers are a joy (loved to be barefoot on the pebbles). They even have gel and shampoo (and it smells great!). Everything is done with love and joy, and it shows. We loved it!"

No complaints, but bear in mind there is no electricity in the tent itself, so in case you want to charge or need electricity you have some charging points or the kitchen. Also wifi is not strong outside the reception area.

"This was a very comfortable modern house like a tiny home but felt spacious. Kids loved sleeping in the loft. It was warm and inviting. The setting is lovely on a river with some small falls. I imagine Iin summer the outdoor bbq area would be very nice. We had a very comfortable night. Free onsen was nice although glad no one else there as it was tiny."

The location is quite far from the train so you need a taxi. The taxi drivers seemed put out to go there she it cost us about $40. Also far from a shop. So bring food or have a car. I like an onsen but it was very tiny. It would be nicer outdoors by the river.

Things were a little disorganised. Wifi only worked near the main restaurant hut.

Sa stricat boilerul si nu am mai putut face baie in ultimele zile,deși am vorbit cu personalul ne.a zis sa așteptăm să se încarce,am așteptat doua zile și nimic apoi noi am plecat.

The way to get there is very adventurous. I arrived in the dark and I wasn't really sure I am at the right place because of the road. Quite scary.

The location is removed from the main part of town. A short taxi ride will get you into the city.

"Recomand din inima acest loc, departe de lumea dezlantuita, chiar langa padure. Casutele sunt intime, la o distanta rezonabila unele de altele, cu tot ce ai nevoie pentru cateva zile de conectare cu natura si deconectare de la agitatie si stres. Proprietarii, Vlad si Lavinia, sunt doi oameni extraordinari care au pus mult suflet in toata locatia si care te ajuta cu tot ce ai nevoie (nu exageram😁, pe noi ne-au recuperat dintre munti, dupa ce ne-am ratacit si ne-a prins intunericul si ploaia). Jos palaria! Cu siguranta vom reveni.🫶"

Drumul pana la Carbunari este destul de rau, multe gropi-cratere, neasteptat pentru o zona turistica asa de populara. Dar asta tine de administratia publica. In rest, la cazare totul a fost perfect.

"Amazing position, right on the beach, immersed in nature. Managed by a gentle and polite family. Good wifi outside of the caravan. Recommended if you are looking for a caravan experience right on the beach and if you are willing to adapt."

The price we payed, due to the Booking.com platform fees, was overall too high with respect to the quality of the accommodation. There were many ants in our caravan (also in the bed). The floor was all covered with moquette (toilet included), which is not very hygienic, especially because the environment tends to get humid. Some windows were broken. Overall, I would suggest a better maintenance.

"The caravan is in a great location for exploring the island, away from touristy areas, noise, and crowds. It’s not very big, but it has everything you need. Dominique was truly kind and helpful."

"The compound is very cosy with lots of fireplaces and areas to play and chill. Although there where a lot of guests the last night we barely noticed them. The outdoor kitchen is very pleasant to use and the showers and toilets where comfortable. We are fond of the place, very easy going, close to nature and basic with a comfort-plus."

We felt lucky we brought our own chairs. The chairs available where great to use for sitting at the table and for eating but not for chilling at the fire pit. The beds where hard. I didn't mind but I can imagine some people don't like a hard matras.
