"The frequency of the power cuts. The hotel had a generator but that trips out the Air conditioning in the room that we were staying in. This made it unbearable to sleep comfortably."

"Right on the beach. Able to go swimming, walk on the beach, and sit back and relax. Staff were very helpful. Place clean. Small hotel with only 4 rooms. Felt very special."

"The swimming pool needs some work. The water pressure is low and the shower heads need replacement as they are blocked."

"Breakfast was great, coffee, tea, freshly made juice, fruits, pancakes, toast, eggs the way you like and sometimes even croissants. Personel was so sweet, comforting, kind and helpfull. Remo and Nasra awaited us, Anna and Zusheina helped us in the restaurant and bar, The food was freshly made and the best we had in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar. Ali kept us safe at night and learned me more Swahili. The rooms were spacious and were cleaned thoroughly every day by Catharina, Inez and Maria. The location and the view is amazing. We even got the seaview room when it was available from the owner I really recommend this little gem with their 3 rooms."

"This hotel is the best place for a quiet vacation in Zanzibar. We stayed here for five nights and thought every day that this was our place. The staff is young, helpful, attentive and caring. Always welcomes and accompanies with a smile. The food was super. The host Antonio took care of our experience on the island. Since we had a car, he pointed out places to see. And where you can't go by car, he ordered excursions for us. The internet was very weak, but sometimes it's good to be away from the world. Highly recommend, you don't be disappointed. But don't forget - this is Africa."

"Lovely place to stay in Zanzibar and perfect spot for sunrise. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed."

"The only issue for us was the food menu as there was not a lot of options other than fish which neither of us liked but the staff and chef were very accommodating and would make other options if they had the supplies. There was no cider on the drinks menu only lager so the manager even went to the wholesaler to purchase some and we only paid the cost 😍"
