"I love this family friendly vibe! There is a pool for kids, adults with swim up bar and another quieter relax pool for adults only. The shows were good- the circus show and the fire show were my favorites. Everyone from the front desk to servers to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, you have a choice in the evening between the buffet and restaurants."

It took us a few days to figure out what was happening at the resort as our Spanish was so limited.

"The view from our room, any room in fact, looked out over the crashing waves that rolled in from the Indian Ocean. Biggest room weve had in Bali.The staff were ready to look after our every whim. They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."

The location was a little to the edge of the city but that may be a good thing for some looking for peace & quiet. The decor is a bit dated

The room was nice, but ours was a little tired. I also didn’t care for the lack of monitoring of the pool lounges,(lack of them, and people being allowed to put a towel on to reserve for the day without being there).

Bucatele la restaurant au fost relativ bune... Risotto cu ton a fost foarte sărat așa că a trebuit să-l întoarcem și sangria a fost "apușoară"... *Recomandare către bucătar - să nu săreze apa/bulionul pentru risotto pentru că săratul va fi conferit de parmigiano... **Recomandare baristei - sa studieze receta de sangria si să refuze sa o facă altfel P.s. vinărie fără vin fiert în meniu în perioada de iarnă e straniu... (dezamăgit în acest sens )

"Liostasi has absolutely made our honeymoon the most magical and comfortable experience. The rooms, the pool, the bar, the view, the spa, the food- all of it is fantastisc. The breakfast is one of the very best I have seen at a hotel. The restaurant is also one of the best/fanciest on Ios. The hotel is close to the port and the other restaurants and bars in Chora. They can also help with car rental so you can explore the island. But the real secret to Liostasi's success is the staff. The staff is wonderfully kind and caring, and willing to help with everything. The staff is the real gem of Liostasi if you ask me. So, if you have the opportunity to travel to Ios and stay at this hotel, do it!!!!!! You will not be disappointed!! Absolute must visit destination and hotel!"

Le prix reste un peu cher pour le Myanmar dans le contexte politique actuel même si il se comprend. Le confort du lit, matelas, était mauvais. Les coupures d'électricité durant tout un après-midi sont aussi à prendre en compte. Enfin les matelas et les serviettes autour de la piscine semblent une option.

Rooms were incredibly spacious and clean with great decor. The restaurants on the property were quite good, with our favorite being Kumin. Special mention to Kavish from Guest Relations who always made an effort to connect with us each day, and recommend things to do on the island including some great restaurants. Also to Hevin from the Pool Bar, who went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome. Overall highly recommended."

Honestly nothing. The asian food at Jasmin restaurants, especially the sushi could have been better. But that's stretching to find a con!

I couldn't control the temperature of the room. I think the AC wasn't working properly I was a bit hot while sleeping even though the AC was on 16 degrees. Probably because the heaters were on.

"The location is right in the heart of Georgetown, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The accommodation is beautifully designed,easily the best I’ve seen in Penang. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made sure we were well taken care of."

If I were to nitpick, the dinner menu could be a bit more interesting. Other than that, everything was great.

The pools are modest compared to other spa resorts, but a new complex is currently under construction.
