"The roosters at 4am! 🤣 And it would be nice with a coffee maker. We missed coffee in the mornings and it was a long walk to the restaurant. Although we did find out on the last day we were allowed to use their golf cart. That would have helped"

"We had a night stopover en route to Vieques and enjoyed the beach shack vibe. It was fun using the golf buggy to get to the bridge. The neighbours were helpful and friendly as was the owner who said hi after we’d let ourselves in. The restaurant overlooking the Marina was lively and the food was good."

"It was hard to find and we didn’t receive some of the information until after we’d arrived. It’s a basic beach hut but it was fun (a bit expensive for what it is) There’s an old boxer dog who’s desperate for attention and seems to live on site."

"Such an incredible vibe. If you are looking for a place to have a laid back, no frills, off the grid, island life experience, this is definitely it. After I arrived, I sat out on the beach and watched the sunset, with no other humans visible, just watching the pelicans and heron out in the water. It was beautiful, and listening to the waves at night was so peaceful. The marina nearby has some good restaurants and great diving options, so it is a great base if you are planning to explore this side of the island, or just want to unplug."

"I know other reviews have mentioned this, but the pre-stay communication could have been better. The location of Puenta Figuera is not particularly intuitive: you have to enter onto the marina grounds via the main security gate and then back out again through a back corner exit. It makes sense once you know it, but could have just been communicated up front cause I ended up having a bunch of confused conversations with marina personnel trying to find it."

"Located in welcoming private area, it was a little bit hard to find, follow instructions on how to get there, but once you get there you’ll fall in love with the place, a great place if you are looking to rest, you’ll fall sleep and wake up with the sound of the waves 30 feet away from your balcony, seat and relax and watch the birds flying over and glide over the bay fishing, enchanted place"

"I love everything about this wonderful special place! Friendly kind people and a peaceful atmosphere, extremely relaxing. Rustic and humble but so so comfy. The owner's pet Prieta is the loveliest sweetest dog ever. The owner is a really nice person and is always available. It is our second time staying there and we plan on coming back as soon as possible 🫶🏽"
