"I got a room upgrade and it was very good. The room was big and comfortable. The hotel is in a very good location. Everything is walking distance away. The owner is very helpful and friendly. She organised my visits and also my bus ticket back to Kathmandu. I would stay there again for sure"

"The staff were super friendly and so helpful and really made the trip to Chitwan super special. The owner took us on a half day walking trip in the jungle and we learned so much about the plants and animals. He also organised a jeep trip in the afternoon. Ghanga very kindly went to town and got some lights for us to take home as we loved the ones in the room. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was lovely with very spacious rooms and a very comfy bed."

"Only slight negative was we booked here as it had a swimming pool but on arrival it was empty. All in all it wasn't the end of the world and didn't detract from the stay as all the positives more than made up for it. We would have struggled for time to use the pool anyways."

"Really comfortable and big room with attached bathroom and decent shower (I upgraded to the AC room). The pool is actually bigger than I was expecting for the price of the place and the AC worked very well. The owner of the hostel was really friendly. Good location a couple of mins from the main high street and about 20 mins walk from the river front. You could also borrow a bicycle for free which was a great bonus."

"The pool could be slightly cleaner, but for the price I can't complain and it was still OK to swim in unless you are fussy. I'm sure it was cleaner than many other swimming pools in Nepal."

"Nice quiet place with a beautiful garden and a nice swimmingpool. The staff was really friendly. The last night they offered me a room with AC for free what was really generous. My room was basic but everything that I needed. I had the room with fan what was fine. slightly hot during the day but for me fine at night. I enjoyed my stay at Tharu lodge!"

"I enjoyed my time while staying in Tharu Lodge. The atmosphere of the place is chill and laid-back, the owners are helpful and great people. Bungalow style apartments which I liked a lot, simple but still decent."

"De gastvrouw Ganga heeft mij verwend met aangepast lekker eten en was erg behulpzaam bij het vinden van mijn weg in Sauraha. Het resort was eenvoudig maar een klein paradijs in een natuurlijke omgeving."

"Very comfortable room (had the one with AC). Nice and quiet just behind the main street, so everything in walking distance. Bars and restaurants for every taste. Very helpful staff. Also with organizing any activity. Surely recommended!!!"

C’était propre et le personnel est disponible mais discret. Nous avons également réservé nos activités au meilleur prix avec Tharu Lodge. Le meilleur rapport qualité/prix de la ville !"
