"WOW, what a lovely place to stay, clean with beautiful traditional quaint decor, nice roof top view and delicious food. We only stayed one night but wished we had stayed longer. The staff were attentive and the rooms spacious and clean, only place on our travels to provide a welcome drink and fruit bowl in the room. thank you Nivas. I would recommend to anyone staying in Kathmandu."

"We had an amazing stay at Nivas - they even upgraded up to the honeymoon suite for free! Rooms are beautiful, breakfast was HUGE, the location is right on the edge of Thamel, so was fun to see a slightly different area :)"

"Nivas is a very welcoming hotel, from arrival to departure. The team recognizes clients and is always ready to help out. The room was spacious and bed confortable. Shower had hot water and good pressure. The rooftop terrace is amazing and the breakfasts… very generous. I enjoyed the location a bit outside Thamel. Walking in this residential neighborhood was a pure pleasure."
