"Wow - what a wonderful place for a relaxing stay. The hosts were charming and helpful. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations - spacious and comfortable with quality furnishings and even a separate kitchen and terrace we would love to have used if warmer. The river was only 200m away for relaxing walks, and a 24hr self-serve supermarket completed the rural escape convenience! Truly one of the best stays we have had - we could not rate it highly enough!"

"A well equipped Apartment and beautiful sundeck. The owners were so nice and welcoming to us and had many toys for our little children. We only stayed for a sleepover, but enjoyed it very much."

"The room was spacious enough for 4 adults, it was cozy, comfortable and we had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming; we had a few pleasant short chats with them. The room decorations and furniture made us feel like disney princesses which is always a big plus. Everything was very clean, we could truly relax here."

"Beautiful hotel and location. Essential ski facilities such as ski passes, equipment rental and clothing shop, ski lesson booking all within the bounds of the hotel. In fact its all downstairs!!! The staff were amazing, extraordinarily helpful and polite, the concierge went above and beyond to sort out any issues. (They helped me contact emergency dentists and arranged transport to track surgeries down). The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. There was soup and bread available during the day. I particularly loved the forest mushroom soup. The room was big and comfortable, everything felt cosy. The ski slopes are well looked after, there are a range of lifts taking you to different parts of the resort. Barely any queuing and the slopes are not overcrowded. I'm not an experienced skier but there were more than enough routes to challenge me as my confidence grew over the week. The restaurant at Varden is stunning and the Mett has lots of lunch options."
