"The kitchen wasn't really a place for proper cooking. There wasn't a good light above the stove (it was broken and full of grease) so it was very hard to see what I was doing, especially for dinner. I think there is another unit with a better cooking setup, but it's hard to know exactly what you're getting when you book. The check-in was fine, but there was no actual reception desk. We arrived during dinner so a server who was quite busy had to step out to check us in. The beds were only bunk beds, so better for groups rather than a couple."

"Located just next to Henningsvaer central. The location couldn't be any better. Next door to a fish-restaurant Fiskekrogen which is also where you pick up the keycode to the door (electronical lock). The restaurant doesn't serve breakfast but there are a few bakeries just down the street as well as a supermarket. We did our own breakfast and dinners which is easy with a well equipped kitchen. The apartment was really big with a big living room and combined kitchen. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. You could easily fit a family of four in the apartment."

"Like in most villages in Lofoten, parking is tough. There is a 3-car private parking available but it's not enough for all quests so the staff said you can park next to the restaurant entrance as well as long as you leave room for people to pass by. We managed to get our car parked well so not a real issue but the space is tight. Some furniture is a bit outdated. The kitchen table had one leg which was loose and few of the chairs had the same issue. Still, not a big issue and we fully enjoyed our stay. There was supposed to be a wifi, but there was no such thing available. No wifi existed with the name they provided. We checked with 3 different devices and even tried to connect directly if it was just hidden. Maybe the router had crashed or something. We didn't bother calling the staff about this since we could just use our mobile data without extra charges."
