"I already stayed at Malarhorn Accommodations a few years ago, but this time, we got a double room in the adjacent house which was a decent upgrade for us. The double rooms are comfortable and the included breakfast was also delicious. But the reason we came here (apart from stepping onto the Westfjords) was the free hot tubs next to the road which are always a delight."
"Unfortunately, my bed had some bedbugs which made my last few days on Iceland a veritable scratch feast. And beware: there might not be an actual menu for your dinner. We had to pay for the entire buffet as opposed to my former stay here."

"Cosy, comfortable, efficient and clean accommodation, good food (the buffet is rather costly but with an all-you-can-eat formula, this is to be expected) but especially a very accommodating staff! The advised us on a walk in the neighborhood which turned out to be a real gem AND they prepared a breakfast package for us because we had to leave very early!"

"Nice place, comfortable and with friendly staff. We enjoyed the Hot Pots nearby, and a short hike on the hill, to get a nice view on the fjord. Some whales were visible in the morning."

"Nice, spacious, timber room with a great little conservatory which caught the afternoon sun and provided ocean views where you could see the whales feeding in the bay. All clean and comfortable, a nice base for the area, and the Wifi internet worked well. The breakfast was basic but very tasty and the dinner was good but very expensive, about $50."

"Nice spot in a small town, where this hotel offers everything a traveler needs. Nice room, friendly people. There is a small shop at the gas station nearby - we shopped there. Coffee and tea facilities available. Nearby parking."

"An amazing location, with stunning views, exceptional food (dinner and breakfast), whale watching by the breakfast and just right out from de the window. The staff? You may count on them! Traveling with a baby is always a challenge but the staff was there to help with our needs. In the future, if it happens to visit Iceland again, Malarhorn will be in the plans for sure cuz the way to get there, the way get out of there and this specific stay were a plus on our family trip."
