"Beautiful, peaceful location. The mobile home had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm. The owner came out to greet us and was very welcoming"

"As one would expect in a mobile home, the bedrooms are small. There is a storage space for empty cases though and hanging/shelf space to unload onto, so we were very comfortable despite the tight space round the bed"

"The house was generally fine, with a large living room, well-equipped kitchen, convenient bedrooms and nice views. A major advantage is a "hottub" for 4 persons with water at 40 degrees Celsius ready to be used on arrival. We genuinely enjoyed it. The locality is very quiet, just a few houses and a farm, with a view on a glacier."

"The cottage is located some 20 km from the nearest town (Hofn) and away from major tourist attractions, a few km from N1 ring road. We used it as a stopover on a tour of Iceland. It is a bit smaller than some other houses we rented, with a narrow corridor between bedrooms and baathroom, though it was not a major issue."

"Casa stupenda, con 3 camere da letto, Hampshire matrimoniale e 2 singole. Bel bagno e cucina comoda e funzionale con macchina del caffè spettacolare. Angolo soggiorno con caminetto e sedia a dondolo davvero confortevole. Hot Tub privata e davvero gradita"

"Harpa was a fantastic host, we asked for a snow shovel to clear the snow and a lovely friend of hers dropped it off the next day. The house was always warm and the bed was more comfortable than ours back home with fantastic quality goose feather duvets. Loved the radiator near the boot rack so your boots were dry and warm in the morning. Top tip for the hot tub. The geo thermal water is very got but we just filled it and left it for a few hours and the temperature was perfect"

"This place was absolutely amazing. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we are so incredibly happy we chose it. It easily became one of our favourite places we’ve ever stayed — we only wish we could have stayed longer. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We did need to download WhatsApp to open the gate since we didn’t have Icelandic mobile numbers, but once that was sorted everything was seamless. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into the space — there were extra towels, lanterns, and so many thoughtful touches that made it feel comfortable and special. Overall though, this place was incredible and we would absolutely stay again. It was such a special spot for our honeymoon."
