"We celebrated a birthday here and the owner and staff were absolutely lovely, joining in making the evening a memorable one. Rooms were comfortable, clean and the showers were great. Food was delicious. It is a peaceful place which felt like a little gem off the beaten track."

"Great value for money. If you intend to stay at the university, this hotel has everything one needs and is in close walking distance. Also, the rooms are tidy, and the staff is very friendly."

The reception was almost never occupied, and the person on the indicated phone number did not speak English. So checking in and paying was a bit tricky. Internet is a bit slow for working, but OK. Also, mind that you may need to bring your own shampoo, soap, and hair dryer.

"Our booking was made very late and despite this we were so warmly welcomed. There was beautiful Cape Verdean music being played when we arrived by two incredible musicians which was lovely. And the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The fresh mango juice was particularly mouthwatering!"

Se oikeastaan saatiin mitä tilattiin. Ainoa mutka matkassa oli lukittu ulko-ovi mutta tekstiviestillä saatiin ohjeet nopeasti.

"Well, totally different experience from Riga! This place is AWESOME as the staff. The lady who hosted us did a great and PERFECT job. We place is very well located, alogside the road, close to supermarkets and the castle ruins. The city centre can be acessed by a footpath uphill from the hotel on a pleasant walk. Bedrooms alright, very clean and organized with no problems at all. We liked so much, that we spent more time that we intended on the next city in a Wine Festival in Sabile that we decided to go back and stay one more night and with only 10 Euros more, they gave us an apartment with living room and kitchen. I wuosl easily go back and refer here. One of the best places on the trip! The city is not big and have not that much to visit but satying here, made everything much better and pleasant! And parking is right besides the hotel as well with plenty space and easy to use and access!"

No ventilation, so if something's wet, it'll stay wet No windows, a little tight

"Mic-dejun placut: ambianta, calitatea si cantitatea produselor, diversitatea lor. Totul la superlativ!"

Singurul punct care ar putea fi ameliorat, subiectiv fiind: locurile de parcare. Cred ca ar fi o idee buna ca in momentul in care te cazezi, mai ales cand ceri un loc de parcare, acesta sa iti fie atribuit, pe intreaga perioada a sejurului. Iesind in oras cu masina, la intoarcere trebuia sa ne cautam alt loc(toate ocupate) sau, parcandu-ne pe un spatiu liber, ocupam locul altor persoane care era mai "vechi"....situatii care creaza, din pacate, tensiuni inutile. Acest detaliu ar putea fi cu siguranta...optimizat, ameliorat.
