"Anandu is a wonderful host. Sonya and Maria are very kind and friendly staff. Suresh knows lots about birds and is enthusiastic to share his experience. This is a lovely place, rooms facing gardens with monkeys in trees. Anandu had all the information and I was really grateful for his tip to get the kottayam ferry to alleppy. The rooms were clean, the balcony relaxing and the breakfast lovely."

"A small hotel with all the confort of a luxurious one. The rooms were spotless, with an excellent hot shower featuring a proper overhead showerhead and mixer tap, a convenient bedside light, and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. The manager is absolutely charming and genuinely caring, always happy to help organize any excursions you’d like. This was one of our favorite places to stay in India, and we highly recommend it."

"We had a wonderful stay at Green View. The hotel is a tranquil oasis in the town. The large balconies open on to a lush garden. We saw the shy black langur monkeys playing in the trees from our room which was amazing! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is lovely. The best thing about the hotel though is the owner and staff. The owner was so helpful even before we arrived. He organised a hiking trip, boating, a kathakali dancing show, Ayurvedic treatments and a cookery class. He organised everything without charging any commission. He is such a kind and enthusiastic person and really takes a joy in looking after his guests. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"The host was Very welcoming facilitating. The location was comfortable and ideally located. We could relax by hearing wildlife over night, We even had the chance to see black monkeys in the neighboring trees from our balcony (we have not been as lucky during the trek in the reserve where we could only see some in the far distance."

"Lovely property with pretty and restful garden - a great place to relax and have their delicious breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms are very large and the deluxe room has a king size bed! The owner, Suresh, is absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and he goes out of his way to make sure everyone is comfortable and has everything they need. He has thought of all the little things that make a great stay - for example I appreciated having adapters already in the wall sockets. It’s in a great location too!"

"My wife and I extended to a 10 day holiday at Green View because it is such a quiet and beautiful location. The Green View is perfect located, just 10 min. walking distance to the National Park Entrance. Close to the best restaurants, ayurveda and very nice joga opportunities. The very delicious breakfast is served in the peaceful green garden. The hotel owner and his employees served and supported us with real passion. Coming back from adventure to the Green View was really like coming home!We have received a lot of very helpful tips on wich we could really on. The view from the balcony directly into the green nature and birds was extraordinary. The rooms were large, clean and with new furniture. It was a pleasure to have been here. He gave excellent advice on the local tours for that more authentic experience and how to get to our next destination. Thank you. Loved our rooms with balcony overlooking the tropical garden surrounded by bird sound in a quiet street just 5 mins walk away from the centre. Lovely hot showers, great value for money, clean, functional, comfortable rooms. Brilliant position to get to the local forest dept centre for tours etc."
