"The building is historic and beautiful. Location is fantastic, easy walk to main square and museums etc and the friendly staff made our 4 now get stay feel extremely welcoming. The pool is a huge bonus after a hot day exploring the Mayan heritage sites."

"Our room was at the rear of the property and was very quiet. Spacious enough and plenty of storage. Short walk to the main square. Private plunge pool was a nice addition Breakfast was ok, continental style but nice to have some fruit and yoghurt."

"Breakfast area was in the courtyard between all the rooms and staff began setting up at 6:30 so that might wake you early."

"It’s a beautiful building right in the centre town, so the location is perfect, and the staff are the loveliest and so helpful. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Comfortable beds, huge bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, great fish tacos, exceptional lattes, and an inspiring Pina Colada. Gio, the owner's dog, is old and going blind and deaf - a sweet fixture. It's a beautiful hotel in the best location, just a four minute walk from my house, which is in need of some repairs to become habitable, so I might have to extend my stay once again and adopt the staff as family. Worse things could happen."

"Oh, let me think...still thinking. There was a power outage in the neighborhood for about 90 minutes one night, which happens in Merida from time to time, and that was sort of a bummer, but I had an audio book downloaded, so it just became a cozy night in."
