I found confusing.Where's the bathrooms had signs on them with specific numbers that seem to be assigned to room that were a little confusing.I'm not sure if there was a room there or if it was another room.It was a confusing sign that said number six or number five , but the bathroom souls probably could use more hooks on the wall , but other than that was great"

The only thing that was not great was that since we were there in November it was pretty cold at night even inside when eating etc but they had heating fans which worked quite well.

No communal areas. The kitchen was tiny and no where sit and eat. There is a small space in the top floor to make a cup of tea but not suitable to eat and not near the kitchen. The shared bathroom shower is too complicated, the water sprays out of all the taps and was cold

"Nice size single room with private bathroom and air-com. Very central both to the old part and the main train station. There was a fridge, a kettle and chai offering and water in the room. I read reviews complaining about lighting which I found sufficient and about duvet and for me was also ok despite being August because of air-con."

The only problem I found was the toilet floor getting get after shower. I have been in some guest houses like this and they offer sandals which saves the problem.

"Good location by the sea which is not far from the main street of Palau where you can find restaurants and groceries (less than 10 minutes walking). Huge room and comfy beds. The staff is really friendly and he dropped us off at the airport. No complaints"

Essayer de voir avec Google Map la problématique de la direction GPS qui n'est pas la bonne... Merci à l'hôte qui, devant mon désespoir, est venu à ma rencontre ! Cette remarque ne remet nullement en cause la qualité de l'hébergement.

The apartment was renovated and clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, the security is very high and the personnel was also super amicable!!🤍🤍🤍 It's quiet and is situated in a safe area - you can walk alone even at night there. The rooms are quite spacious and have enough sockets and furniture. There are a couple of stores around and even a local eatery with tasty food. The owner was ready to help with any questions and was super friendly too. Totally recommended!! 🫶🏼💕"

"Had an amazing stay at Akunamatata and would highly recommend it. The house was clean and spacious and only a few minutes from the Main Street of Grand Case and the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed while away. The outdoor area was relaxing and the bed very comfortable. Although we were sharing the house with other people it was a perfect place to stay. "I had a simply wonderful time here. The host is exceptionally kind and always available for any questions, at any time of day. The room was clean, tidy, and pleasant, a cozy little guest unit that felt very private and welcoming. She’s also an amazing cook, the meals were delicious, thoughtful, and full of love. All around is the magical quiet of an authentic village, with green nature and a calming view. You’ll also be greeted by Chucha, the sweet family dog, who clearly loves guests and adds even more charm to the stay. A warm, peaceful local experience, exactly what I was hoping to find."

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

"Excelente el tamaño de la habitación incluyendo su cama con sus múltiples capas de colchas para arroparse. Tenia un parador pequeño para colocar los objetos y mochilas. El baño contaba con agua caliente al girar la perilla derecha con la izquierda al ser el de frío regulaba que tan caliente uno deseaba. Excelente servicio a la habitación, incluso proveen con más rollo de papel higiénico en caso de requerir. El hotel y sus lugares aledaños son muy tranquilos y seguros. Igual uno debe ser precavido para evitar cualquier situación. La dueña del hotel responde casi inmediatamente si se presenta una novedad."

Lamentablemente uno se percató al momento de elegir en booking.com. No especifiqué desayunos, por ende no recibí mi desayuno. La habitación no estaba aislada del frío - no contaba con calefactor. La habitación solo contaba con dos jabones y no contaba con 1 satchet/frazo pequeño de shampoo.
