"Beautiful house set in the middle of nature. We booked a larger room to have some more space and it was very big with a huge terrace which we loved. The farm itself was full of different fruit trees and plants and Santhosh was kind to show us around and explain what was what. He also organised a tuktuk tour in the forest for half a day which we really enjoyed. He let us know about a local festival happening in a town nearby and even drove us back after. Breakfast was great, and so was dinner which we asked for on the last evening. We booked this place to experience the peace and nature in Kerala and this is exactly what we got, would 100% reccommend!"

The shower in our bathroom didn't have hot water connected, so in order to use the hot water, we needed to use a bucket and a jug to shower. Pillow cases were not very soft.

"Un loc minunat cu oameni deosebiți! Apartament spațios, foarte curat, cu o priveliște de vis. Am putut comanda pentru fiecare dimineață chifle proaspete care au fost bine-venite. Locuri foarte frumoase in imprejurimi pentru plimbare. Un mare plus este posibilitatea de a folosi gratuit bicicletele. Mulțumim!"

Christine is an great host. She takes such loving care of her guests and is always attentive and genuinely committed to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. "We had an awesome stay at the accomodation. The host was exceptional, he showed us around the whole location and we were invited to try the best coffee for free. Also he knows English very well. The terrasse has an amazing view and the food was very delicious. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back!"

There is no place to get fresh tea or coffee at the accommodation or in the village unless you bring your own. A very small inconvenience because there is a great restaurant next to the monastery a few minutes drive away.

"If you’re feeling tired from work or from life, this is the place you should come to. I highly recommend staying for at least 10 days. I stayed for 40 days, and during that time, my body and soul were healed — I feel truly happy now. My days at Petit Martel felt like being in paradise."
