"Nice basic room with a basic kitchen and bathroom in a old house. Very good option for short stays in Birgu. The terasse could be perfect with good weather, the view is beautiful. If you need something you can always go to the restaurant where you take the keys. It is useful. And the restaurant is very good also. The host answers very quickly any question. Coffe capsules provided. Good not expensive option."

"The room was lovely and in a great location. We had everything we needed including a stove, moca for the coffee and a kettle; as well as towels and a fridge. We especially loved the rooftop which had a beautiful view of the port!"

"The only thing we didn’t like was that the room was slightly cold at times and there were some very loud neighbours who would be shouting at 7am on a couple of days."

"Apartment is on three floors in Maltese style house (stone walls, narrow stairs ... ) which gave more spirit to our stay on Malta. Also communication with Consiglio (the owner) was easy going and efficient. We had a nice stay."

"A very nice apartment, with everything you might need(equipped kitchen, etc) . Very quiet location, if that's something you are looking for. Keep in mind that Birgu is a very quiet place with few options for shops or restaurants. There is a small ferry boat located few minutes from the house that takes you to Valetta. The owner was very responsive."

"For us personally, the location wasn't ideal since there was nothing to do, and we needed to rent a car to go out of Birgu. We also visited off season (end of Nov) The only heating option in the house was through AC, which is less than ideal. If you ever tried heating through an AC, you know it's not a great option. The downstairs AC would sometimes turn off, and the upstairs one didn't turn on heating at all. Some people here have already mentioned the hot water, and we can confirm that it is indeed an issue. The hot water only suffices for one person to take a shower, it runs out very quickly."

"The Sea Baron was wonderful. It is in a beautiful location and has everything you need for a fantastic vacation in beautiful Malta. Monica and Vincenzo were great hosts, we found water, fruit, yoghurts, coffee and milk on arrival which saved us having to go shopping. They met us when we arrived late evening and made sure we knew everything we needed to know for a smooth vacation. They checked in with us regularly and were quick to respond to any messages. The. Boat itself is very spacious, with everything you need. The washrooms at the Marina were very convenient to use, although the bathrooms on board were more than adequate. There are great restaurants nearby and the ferry to Valletta is a 5 minute stroll away. We were 4 adults and the Sea Baron was more than we could have ever imagined, we ate on the deck one evening admiring the beautiful marina and surrounding buildings. I would definitely recommend the Sea Baron."
