The location is removed from the main part of town. A short taxi ride will get you into the city.

At this price you need to expect a basic accommodation, which it is. Do yourself a favour and rent a scooter right from the beginning of your stay. The scooters rental is not really close to the resort so best you go there with the bus and then drive up to the accommodation with the scooter.

My room had a little ant problem as well as if you actually want a reply from the place you need to call the number that's stuck to the window of the Information building. I messaged multiple times through Booking but never had a reply until I called.

"Recomand din inima acest loc, departe de lumea dezlantuita, chiar langa padure. Casutele sunt intime, la o distanta rezonabila unele de altele, cu tot ce ai nevoie pentru cateva zile de conectare cu natura si deconectare de la agitatie si stres. Proprietarii, Vlad si Lavinia, sunt doi oameni extraordinari care au pus mult suflet in toata locatia si care te ajuta cu tot ce ai nevoie (nu exageram😁, pe noi ne-au recuperat dintre munti, dupa ce ne-am ratacit si ne-a prins intunericul si ploaia). Jos palaria! Cu siguranta vom reveni.🫶"

Drumul pana la Carbunari este destul de rau, multe gropi-cratere, neasteptat pentru o zona turistica asa de populara. Dar asta tine de administratia publica. In rest, la cazare totul a fost perfect.

"It was unique and the location perfect as we had stopped off in the city of Masaru on the way. We had excellent communication with the host who organised an upgrade as we were two women travelling together and asked for the possibility of twin beds. Mark organised a full day out on his horses with his guide Motobang which was excellent and included lunch. All food was prepared by him and was delicious and plenty."

Portable aircon is loud.

"We had the most amazing stay. Everything was magic. The sound of the river and rain hitting the wagon was magical while you slept. The ducks quacking and running around was so entertaining and the scones on arrival was such a personal touch. We will be returning very soon. The kids would love it 🥰"

"The compound is very cosy with lots of fireplaces and areas to play and chill. Although there where a lot of guests the last night we barely noticed them. The outdoor kitchen is very pleasant to use and the showers and toilets where comfortable. We are fond of the place, very easy going, close to nature and basic with a comfort-plus."

We felt lucky we brought our own chairs. The chairs available where great to use for sitting at the table and for eating but not for chilling at the fire pit. The beds where hard. I didn't mind but I can imagine some people don't like a hard matras.

"Malý rodinný kemp. Majitel příjemný, ochotný. Večer posezení u pivka, kdo chtěl, tak i s večeří. Bazén k dispozici večer i ráno. Naprostý klid a uvolnění. Spali jsme ve svém autě. K snídani vejce, uzeniny, sýr, rajče.. vše domácí a naprosto úžasná švestková marmeláda."

Záchody a sprchy v kabinkách vedle sebe, ale čisté.

"Es hat mir alles gefallen! Ich habe mit meinen zwei Jungs für 4 Nächte im Heu übernachtet. Die Vermieterin ist super freundlich! Der wunderbare Garten hat uns jeden Tag neues entdecken lassen, die Tiere waren toll. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen!"

Leute, die meinen für den günstigen Preis ein 10 Sterne Luxushotel erwarten zu müssen! Wer es klinisch rein haben möchte, sollte in die Stadt fahren und in ein Hotel gehen, nicht aufs Land, auf einen Bauernhof mit Tieren und Heu für ein paar Euro die Nacht!
