"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

"Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal."

"Lonnoc Beach Lodge was a great spot to get to experience life on Santo. It's about an hour away from Luganville on a bumpy road but it's worth it. The bungalows are basic but comfortable. Wendy looked after us and cooked some delicious meals including papaya curry, kumala mash with steak and also a local dish called lap lap. Wendy even got up extra early to make us breakfast on the day we were leaving as we had a very early flight. All the food was so fresh. The view from the bungalow was amazing and I loved hearing the waves right there. There's a couple of other properties connected with great swimming beaches and where you can also hire a kayak. Champagne beach is either a kayak or walk away and is definitely worth visiting."

"Our bungalow was very basic but cosy. It functioned on solar power so we had lighting and could charge our phones in the evening when the generator was on. It was close to the shore so the sound of the sea was relaxing. Wendy, our host was very helpful as was Cindy when we needed anything and they cooked lovely meals for us in the evening for a reasonable price. The beautiful beach is 2 minutes walk away. This is a lovely way to experience local culture in a relaxing atmosphere. Transport can also be arranged if you need it and Champagne Beach is a 10 minute walk away. In summary, this is nice for a few days."

"Lonnoc Beach Lodge was an incredible experience. A short, palm lined walk through a few small resorts and farms gets you to Champagne Beach. Hands down the nicest beach I have ever seen. Lonnoc Beach itself is no slouch either. Wendy our host organises car trips to all of the other attractions nearby. Notably the Nanda Blue Hole and yet another 10/10 beach, Port Olry, which offers a few more hospitality options. Wendy and Cindy are absolute angels and made our time incredibly easy and relaxing. Very generous serves of homecooking three times a day kept us fuelled up. Will be back for certain!"

"I liked everything, though people looking for a more polished resort experience may need to manage their expectations. It is isolated, beautiful and very simple. Perfect for those who want to disconnect and realign their connection the grid's intensity. No shortage of things to do nearby to stay occupied if you can't sit still and sink in."

"My partner and I had the absolute best time at Lonnoc Beach Lodge. We booked three nights at first but extended because our flight to Port Vila got cancelled. Everybody was super helpful with driving us back to Luganville and even calling to the airvanuatu office. The location is beautiful. Right by Lonnoc Beach and a short walk from Champagne Beach. The food was delicious too! We will come back next time in Espiritu Santo!"
