Vile în Camerun

"Perfect location with great views of the mountains and river in the beautiful town of Arco. The apartment was nicely decorated in italian style and included a great hot tub bath and a 4k television. The kitchen was reasonably well appointed with an induction hob and a combi oven, and a fridge freezer. There was free parking available in an underground garage, but we were on foot - the pedestrian entrance came out right onto the pretty alleyways in the Arco old town."

The check in details could have been clearer. The keys had to be collected from "Arcoplant", which is a small garden centre a long way from the apartment. We got there on a Sunday, so the garden centre was closed and it was difficult to get in touch with the owner, but they were really friendly and helpful once we found them.

"The guest house AIDA is a huge villa. It has 4 different bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3 different common living rooms. It can accommodate up to 10 people with lots of available indoor space for everyone. There is one shared pool with 2 other guest houses and lots of outdoors common spaces that you use. One of the common spaces has a very nice seating around a fire pit, the host provided us with firewood and help to light the fire. The host was very friendly and very responsive to all our questions."

The beds can be more comfortable, but they were ok for 1 night. There are no ACs in the rooms, but the weather in that area is already chilled, and they provided 4 different electric fans for all the rooms.

"Am petrecut un sejur minunat la această vilă din Ksamil! Locația este ideală – aproape de plaje, dar suficient de liniștită pentru relaxare. Vila este curată, bine întreținută, cu camere confortabile și o curte perfectă pentru seri de vară, cu foișor, grătar și multă verdeață. Gazdele au fost deosebit de ospitaliere,ne-au pregătit o cină foarte gustoasă și ne-au servit cu vin de casă, mereu atentă și gata să ajute cu sfaturi utile despre zonă. Un bonus neașteptat, dar tare simpatic, a fost prezența unei pisicuțe prietenoase care ne-a ținut companie pe terasă în fiecare dimineață – o adevărată mascotă a locului! 🐾 Un colț de rai în Ksamil – ne-am simțit ca acasă și cu siguranță vom reveni! 🌞🌊"

"We absolutely loved everything about this property. Amazingly wonderful villa, Lilou our villa host was also great and very helpful. Celine the property owner had left us a welcome platter of different French cheese’s which were delish and a bottle of red and white wine along with a dozen eggs and a loaf of bread."

The property was perfect inside and out and nothing to dislike.

"I like the location, in the middle of three hospitals I needed to visit, staff were very helpful , I had upgraded and that was very nice of Mr. Ahmed. I will be back for sure."

"Căn hộ rất rộng, khu sinh hoạt chung rất phù hợp để tụ tập tự nấu ăn, ăn uống với nhau. Cảnh quan xung quanh rất đẹp, có xe chở đi, và được sử dụng nhiều dịch vụ khác trong khu. Có vài trang thiết bị hơi cũ, đã xuống cấp nhưng cũng đã được xử lý và vệ sinh tốt."

Không hỗ trợ đặt giường phụ (có nhưng tính phí), cảm thấy không hợp lý lắm vì không gian chung rất rộng mà kh thể ở thêm người.

"L'endroit est très propre et décoré avec goût, on se croirait chez soit ! Cette maison est un paradis que ce soit pour les adultes et pour les enfants. Il y a un coin jeux extérieur pour eux, et des jouets ainsi que des équipements loisir (draisienne, ballon rebondissant, etc...) à l'intérieur. Les services proposés sont également de qualité et très intéressants !"

"The villa is clean & spacious. Ilse was very accommodating, she reached out to me just right after my booking was confirmed. She was very attentive with all my queries. My family & friends enjoyed our stay. The villa is huge, and so many sitting areas where you can bond with friends. We look forward of staying there again."

"Small hotel of 10 rooms, with large rooms (includes a small fridge), comfortable bed, nice local shower products and very quiet as I did not hear at all the other rooms despite all the rooms being in the same building. The heated swimming pool is a great feature, breakfast outside in the sun by the swimming pool and diners inside by the fire, as it was a bit chilly in the evenings, were really nice. The food was excellent too. Finally the staff was very kind and efficient. There are several cats on the property - to be mentioned for those who it could be an issue. Also, the property did not serve any alcohol."

"Het warme welkom, prachtige woning, heel schoon. Een fijn zwembad, alles aanwezig in een woord geweldig."

"It was clean and convenient, and AC was great. Water pressure was good. Felt safe and secure. Property has all necessary amenities."

Would have liked 2 single beds in the second bedroom for the children. Could use a dustbin in the kitchen.

"Perfect location to rest from desert. Plenty space. Pit fire. Barbecue. Kids facilities"

A little lack of equipments such as knifes and forks for example.

"The villas are on private property just off the beach road that divides the property to peaceful lush gardens with villas and the beach side with pool, bar, outdoor shower and beach area. Villa has a spacious teracce that is perfect spot for relaxing and wildlife watching - birds, iguanas, parrots, butterflies, collibries - better than the Gilpin trail! :) Each villa has own host that met us at our arrival. She helped us to settle, showed us the house and next day she cooked the lunch for us as per our wish - the local cuisine - callaloo, cou cou and mahi mahi and it was delicious."

That we could not stay longer! :) And the fans above the bed were little fast, not able to slow them down.

"Good location close to the beach. Easy walk to the harbour area and restaurants and bars. The property was clean and well equipped although could do with some updating. Bedrooms and living area spacious, less so the bathroom - see below."

The bathroom and particularly the shower was small and very basic. The floor in the shower sloped and was a potential hazard; care needed not to lose your balance. Jolly Beach is a beautiful long beach, but when we were there construction work was taking place along side the beach which was noisy and distracting.

Maybe a bit cold, but there was a fireplace that solved the situation mostly.

"Beautiful cabin with beautiful view, in a perfect location to explore Durmitor. It had everything we needed as a family of four. We appreciated the bottle of wine that was left for us. We would definitely come back!"

"Had an Great stay at Casa Karibu. The house was clean and had amazing views. Daily house cleaning staff was a pleasure to be around. Planning activities was a breeze and Laurie was always a text away to assist."

"The villa had everything! Stocked wine cooler, bottles of spirits, full mini bar. There was a gas BBQ and good free Wi-Fi. The beach and pool were both no more than a few hundred meters from the villa in all directions. It was beautiful!"

Perhaps the resort supermarket produce could have been fresher, with a better selection of meat for the BBQ, but there's nothing to stop you using a local supermarket.

"L’accueil de notre hôte, son professionnalisme et sa disponibilité pour répondre à nos demandes pendant notre séjour . La conception architecturale de la maison qui en fait un lieu d’exception dans tous ses aménagements et principalement la piscine à débordement de grande taille avec une vue sur l’océan indien . Le calme et la sérénité du lieu : la musique de l’océan , le chant des oiseaux et du vent … un coucher de soleil tous les soirs sur l’océan : de la piscine , du salon , de la cuisine et de notre chambre , du jardin …. Une vue panoramique à 180 degrés !!! L’emplacement géographique dans le quartier de l’hermitage : accès direct au lagon et proximité à pied de Saint-Gilles ."

"Staff very nice and accommodating Public free laundry Excellent value rooms for antigua. Rooms were big with decent kitchen. I would absolutely stay here again."

Only downside is 2km distance into town. 30 min walk or uber for 30Q

"Everything is perfect, the villas are so new and well equipped and decorated. Sofia - Cousine Chef - and Marie - our main contact - were incredible since the begging. They do all for us to fell more comfortable. Levi is the bast from finish Lapland. Weather is perfect, the Vila is surrounded by nature and super calm but still central place. 1000% worth"

"It was a nice house 5 minutes walking from the beach. The team was very supportive solving any issues very quickly. Having Ramón also helped a lot with the shopping and the cooking for a big group as it was out case, and everything was very tasty. The rooms were very clean, and it was useful to have the laundry for one week stay."

The only room for improvement was agreeing the breakfast or dinner times with the chef, which was sometimes not clear to coordinate.
