"Very good location right in the middle of the old town. Carlos and his family are very friendly and helpful and got us an excellent driver for our two day trip to the desert, Aydar lake and Nuratau Mountains. Definitely recommend!"

"Real gem! Beautiful property in the old town. This is small family business, well ran and well organised. House is great, in prime location in the city. My hosts were very accommodating in regards late arrival (train was running late), and they also helped to organise transport on departure. They were carrying, checking if everything was fine and if I needed anything extra. Breakfast was included in price, very tasty, and it always included some local, home-made pastries. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and doona pleasantly warm and heavy for good sleep. Overall, great value for money, great experience."

"The hotel is surrounded by greenery and offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It is about a 12–15 minute walk to the main road, where you can find supermarkets, fast-food outlets, and various restaurants. The TV Tower is also within walking distance, just over 20 minutes away. All staff members were warm, approachable, and efficient, which greatly enhanced the overall experience."

"Beautiful location and a more friendly owner is hard to find! Shodman ate dinner with us, told us about the area, took us on a fantastic hike and helped organize our trip back to Samarkand. The food was among the better we had in Uzbekistan."

The location is perfect for walks in the mountains and valleys nearby. The accommodation is as to be expected for a mountain guesthouse: cosy but basic."

"We had the best time ever! The family is very kind and fun, we played volleyball with the kids and felt right at home. The rooms are cozy and private. The mountain view is also a plus. The mum cooks all the meals and is an incredible cook. The variety of the meals is remarkable! We definitely recommend it and cant wait to go back! They also took care of every activity we wanted to do. We already miss it!"

"The family were very welcoming. The horse riding they organised was fabulous, one of the highlights of our entire holiday in Uzbekistan. Hiking opportunities straight from the door or just some time chilling in a very relaxed atmosphere . Home cooked rustic food was really nice and plentiful. We were lucky enough to be joined by the family to eat dinner on two of our 3 night stay, the last night was too cold for them to sit out though. Breakfast was great too. The showers in the guest block are very good ( but the right hand one doesn’t drain well)"
