"Leo and Nada are perfect hosts. We have been in touch with them from the date of the booking and they informed us about all we could do in the area and the many interesting places to visit from there. The aparment is spacious and very well equipped. We liked the view from our bedroom in the mornings. There is a nice garden that is a little Eden and they have a nice cat Frida that is very happy to be cuddled. We couldn't ask for more! :D"

"Great appartement very cosy and warm there is everything that is needed even a little space outside to be in the sun and the recommandations of leo were all great. Even a nice cat if you like animals"

"Herzlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Traumhafter Garten und frei Sitz, zum relaxen und genießen. Absolut ruhig mit wunderbaren Ambiente. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!!!!! Gabi & Andi ."

"Everything about this accommodation was fabulous. Our host suggested to move to another apartment house with sauna on site. We gladly accepted and were amazed how beautifully decorated studio was. Entire property is carefully decorated and landscaping is well thought of. There is beautiful sauna / spa at the top floor for guests to relax (for additional but very fair price). Location is perfect for Julian Alps hiking trips / skiing in 3 countries. Alpe Adria cycling route is literally at the doorstep. Quiet rural surroundings and calming views of mountain tops and meadows ensure relaxing getaway. Studio was well equipped with all the necessities you can think of. Hosts (family Mertelj) are welcoming and flexible, and I highly recommend the stay at any of their available properties. We would love to come again, as this is by far one of the best accommodations we've ever encountered."

"Excellent communication from the host about meeting times. Think we were upgraded from Studio to Comfort Studio. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was lovely and shower powerful. We were 5 minutes from the bus stop and 12 from the lake (including a steady hill). There were bars along the hill. Particularly liked Asko (bar and billiards). Had delicious meal at Old Cellar Bled (more reasonable price wise than the lake View version). There were 2 supermarkets across the road from the apartment and a small bar, which unfortunately closed quite early."

"We spent wonderful time during our week at Hostel Xaxid. Duzan and Tina are great hosts, eager to talk and to help. Thanks to them, we felt like at home and learned a lot about Slovenia, Istria, and also about Duzan’s many passions (painting, geology…). He really put his heart into the renovation of the houses. We stayed at a separate house, but could use the tables in their courtyard for lovely apéritives and dinners outside. The place is great to enjoy a real Slovenian countryside experience, as they are old stone houses in a village in the mountains, with cocks singing in the morning and dark nights to observe the stars! It is also convenient to visit south west Slovenia (the coast, Piran, Izola, Postojna et Skocjan caves…) The house is simple but clean and confortable, great for a family."
