"The setting of the hotel was lovely and calm. It was very relaxing. The room and bed were big. Staff were professionally helpful and kind considering we do not speak Portuguese. There was a good selection of foods at breakfast. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our meal. We were introduced to some excellent local wine."

"The Hotel is located in a picturesque location. it has a nice pool but we did not get to use it. The hotel has old world charm and the restaurant served nice food. Parking was easy and free and the location was good. The staff were very nice. The room had a nice view and was a good size."
"The electric charging station was inoperative, there was no in room coffee or tea making facility, I had to plug the refrigerator in and there was no safe. The bed was a little hard."

"It was homely & comfortable being in an historic manor with authentic furnishings and atmosphere . Nice outlook. Staff were caring & helpful . Restaurant was good with various options dining inside or on the terrace . Good breakfast. Pool was refreshing to cool off in the heatwave . Air conditioning was not working well due to the high temperatures but the staff swapped our room to a lower level which was cooler . Bed comfy . Parking onsite"
