"The location of the hotel could not have been better. The staff were excellent and very helpful in arranging a taxi to the Palace. Incidentally the taxi driver was a fount of knowledge and really enhanced our experience. The recommendation of a good local restaurant was very welcome and accurate."
"Whilst we did not eat dinner in the hotel the food for others was served in the bar which did not seem appropriate for the standard of hotel. Perhaps in the main season the restaurant would be used."
"The room was nice with a beautiful view from the balcony...lots of light. Parking was appreciated as the hotel is in the old town. It was lovely to go out at night / early morning to see the town once the day trippers had left."

They were well behaved, but it felt like being in a school canteen with the noise levels and buffet food swiped as soon as it was replenished. We waited over half an hour on the first day for some scrambled egg to appear. Not really what we had planned to start our day!"
