"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."
"The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night."

"Too many mosquitoes but that’s to be expected in nature! In general in that area there are not as many supermarkets as on the other side of the island but that’s part of its charm!"
"The location is so beautiful -- so many birds and their songs; the stars at night are stunning. It is so peaceful there, a perfect place to unplug and relax. Manolo is awesome and what he is doing is really special."

"The wildlife here was diverse and was extremely interesting just within the site. we saw many birds (and placards to help us distinguish them), iguanas, fireflies, and even a frog. It was all very cute and fun! The property is clean and surprisingly well furnished; we could cook and there was plumbing, addressing our biggest concerns about family camping. Our family had a great trip here."
"Like anywhere in Puerto Rico, there are many mosquitoes, so plan ahead with bug repellent. Also, we forgot that despite the awesome accommodations, we are still camping and it can get cold at night. Dress warmly in PR winter nights. Altogether though, these were minor issues compared to everything else that can be mitigated with some planning."
"Beautiful, peaceful, safe location in the Cabo Rojo naturaleza. The accommodations were comfortable and thoughtful, and Manolo was very attentive and helpful. Seeing the stars was magical!"
