"Great location, extremely cheap price, nice old building, Really kind hearted and friendly, helpful staff"

"I didn't get the info email in time so I was left confused about where the reception was- there are two buildings on two separate streets and if you don't speak or read Polish this presents a challenge to find the other place. The beds were like a bit of sponge on wood and you could feel the wood as you sat down so they weren't very comfortable. But most of all (and not something the hostel can control really) the room was a mixed dorm full of arrogant and selfish nasty idiots who drunkenly shouted conversation at each other throughout the whole night, leaving the rest of us tired, frazzled, late for our excursions the next day. We all individually asked them to be quiet out of consideration for the other people sleeping there. Very bad people who gave people from the capital a bad name. I later heard that this is somewhat typical of the arrogance of people from Warsaw. I don't do prejudice but it did give a bad impression. They knew they were keeping us all awake and they simply didn't care and somewhat enjoyed it. This is not the sort of mindset compatible with staying in a shared communal accommodation and they simply didn't belong among the rest of us there. The staff were kind about it all and let me check out much later than I would have done to get myself washed and ready on half speed from the abusive level sleep deprivation. And one of the men in the mixed group doing it was sleazy and controlling and demanded to know where I had been that evening. Apart from one conversation, this man was a total stranger to me. The hostel let me relax and cook in the other hostel building (when I would have liked to have been out sightseeing really) to make up for the disturbance that they couldn't do anything about. Thoughout the night I kept thinking they would eventually go to sleep, but they were like Terminators on booze. Unstoppable apparently. Most people pass out if that drunk. Zero sleep because of them."

"I liked the clear communication fron the hostel staff - I had to arrive later than their reception opening hours and they made sure to send me detailed instructions how to self check-in and get my keys. So I could check in smoothly without issues. Once inside the room, I especially liked the size of the lockers, which were big enough to accommodate my stroller cabin bag and a backpack and still gad enough space to put other items in. The rooms and facilities itself are quite basic but fine for short stays. I had booked during a busy event as most other locations seemed tonbe already booked or no longer affordable, so I was surprised that on most nights my room wasn't full and on one of the nights I was actually alone in the room. Given that Torun old town is quite small and entirely walkable, all the main sightseeing locations are within walking distance."

"There were unfortunately a few issues which made me give rather low overall score to the hostel. First of all, upon arrival I could immediately notice that the linen had some hair on it. I guess it needs to be more thoroughly washed each time. Secondly, on one of the days I woke up with multiple bites that are consistent to a pattern of bed bug bites. I haven't seen the actual bugs but clearly there were some given my experience. Overall, I think cleanliness could be improved. The bathroom did look quite clean but the rooms need more attention."

"Idealna lokalizacja, wszystko co praktycznie można zobaczyć ciekawego w Toruniu jest na starym mieście, także nie trzeba podróżować komunikacją. Czysta pościel (!), kawa, herbata w kuchni, Bardzo miła Pani w recepcji, pomocna."

"Okna brudne, ja wiem że po zimie, ale one miały warstwę brudu co najmniej roczną., szkoda, bo widok z okna naprawdę ładny. Wystarczy przetrzeć szyby i będzie git. Toalety. 2 z WC i prysznicem z czego jedna była nieczynna, bo spłuczka nie działała i ktoś urwał wajchę od kranu. Materace na łóżkach są bardzo cienkie i napewno wysłużone. Cały środek był wklęsły (są to materace piankowe bardzo odkształcone) i czuć było żebra łóżka. Jak na jedną noc spoko, ale na dłużej to poprostu nie wygodne jest. Poduszka jak mały jasiek. Jak ktoś lubi wyżej spać to polecam zabrać swoją poduszkę."

"Cena nie była adekwatna w stosunku do udogodnień.Zapłacono 144 zł za pobyt a dzień później cena wynosiła 50 zł.Bardzo twarde drewniane łóżka.Na drewnianej płycie położony cieniutki materac i cieniutka kołderka.Rano człowiek wstał cały obolały jakby spał na podłodze.Poza tym nie działała jedna z łazienek i jeden z pryszniców.Brak na wyposażeniu choćby ręczników."
