"Everything about the place was excellent. Very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. We needed to catch a ferry and it was the right place to spend the night. The town was delightful, with many places to eat and shop is needed."

"Sehr schön neu renoviertes Zimmer. Sehr bequemes Bett, nette kleine Terasse, schönes Bad und Kaffee Maschine plus Wasserkocher."

"Gefallen hat alles! Leider sprang immer wieder eine recht laute Lüftung an, die wir nicht ausstellen konnten. Fernbedienung für die Heizung oder Klimaanlage war leider so versteckt, dass wir sie erst kurz vor der Abreise entdeckt haben (im Schrank, neben dem Kühlschrank)."

"Jos en Willemijn zijn fantastische mensen. Duidelijk hebben ze in het hotel vak gezeten, want ze weten wat de gasten willen. Het ontbijt is het waard om erbij te nemen. Oke de kamer is top. Heeft vloerverwarming en dat was nodig (december) Het bed ligt comfortabel. De douche is heerlijk. De appelgaard lijkt op een schilderij als je uit het raam kijkt."

"Great value, great room. Minimal service but it works. Breakfast box to eat in your rolm is an original idea..is good unless you‘re looking for something healthy.. excellent fresh orange juice, fantastic croissant and good quality bread rolls. Ham & kaas. A very good quality classic dutch breakfast. Bottom line… i liked it, although i prefer oats and muesli for breakfast. Coffee is excellent due to the pod machine in the room"

"The property is set in stunning countryside and offers secure parking for a motorbike (closed barn). The room and bathroom were spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was fabulous and had a jacuzzi bath (very relaxing). Outside had a lovely seating area in which to enjoy the warm evenings. The breakfast was delivered to our room at a time of our choosing and was FANTASTIC! The best continental breakfast I have had in a very long time. Bob, our host was charming, so helpful and welcoming. We loved staying here and if we return to the area, we will definitely book in again. Thank you Bob ( and Tessa the dog) for a truly wonderful stay."
