"We loved our stay at Oleadas Maderas! It was just what we needed. The place was very clean, it had all the amenities we needed and had a relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to escape for a few days and enjoy the beach. Marielle was excellent! She was quick to answer our questions and made us feel welcome."

"The area is under construction right now. The municipality is building a costal road that goes right by the beach. At the moment to get to the beach you have to get through the construction. Made us feel sad the changes happening in Playa Maderas they took out a lot of the green that used to surround the area."

"A great place that attracts good people, quiet setting, quiet part of town, but easily walkable to all that San Juan del Sur has to offer. Sandra and Elvin were fantastic and always ready to help with recommendations and whatever I needed. (even a bar of homemade soap!) Thank you x a thousand."

"Staying here was absolute paradise! We had the most amazing few days relaxing by the pool, surfing at the beach, watching unbelievable sunsets and eating delicious home cooked food! The surf lessons were amazing - we got 121 instructors which was amazing as we were both complete beginners. Every member of staff was so lovely, patient, and knowledgeable. They catered to our dietary requirements without hesitation (pescatarian and gluten free). Our room was spotlessly clean and had amazing views of the bay. We loved having the howler monkeys watching from the treetops. Cocktails were great too!"
