"Location is great, just off 5th Avenue which means all the bars, nightlife etc are a walk away but you dont hear the thumping music at all from the property. Proximity to the water is fantastic. One thing to note is you can't really swim in the water infront of the hotel as it is mainly for boats. But a 5 min walk towards the center means everything you would need is close."

"The location is exceptional.on the beach, inthe heart of everything in Playa. It is incredibly clean and well maintained. We had issues with our wifi but the fixed it as fast as they could. Great service, whenever we asked. Generally quiet. Pool emaculate. Kitchen well equipped, which saves a lot of money."

"My only real complaint is the furniture screeching across the floors above our heads. Some dampening pads on the feet are highly suggested and to ask that other guests not were does in the studios. The woman above us wore heels every evening. Also sad that the delivered breakfast prices went up to $15 USD:( Thank goodness for the kitchen!"

"Great sized room with a bed, couch area and a kitchen space. The balcony was great to spend time on especially with the hammock! The shower had good pressure and temperature. The staff were great, and fixed our TV which wasn’t connected to the internet. We could change our beach towel every day at reception. Plenty of space throughout the day on the loungers at the beachfront, and very relaxing to laze in the sun. The hotel was very well-located near the main, busy street with plenty of wonderful restaurants around, and the main beach very close by."

"The rooms were very clean and had everything that we needed including a toaster, full-size fridge, microwave, pots and pans, filtered water dispenser, etc. The bathroom had dispensable body wash, shampoo, and conditioner that smelled incredible. The room was a very good size and beautiful. The couch doubles as a pull-out bed. There was a water cooler at the entrance of the building for guests to refill their water bottles. Check-in was quick and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast for an extra fee is available. The pool was nice but very small and needed some skimming. The beach was very small but secluded. It was nice that it was sectioned off from all of the other hotels. You can access the water but you have to jump over some barriers to get there. Lots of scuba diver boats bobbing in front of the hotels section of the beach. It was a nice atmosphere. The hotel is 3 3-minute walking distance from downtown. Perfect location. Close enough to everything but very quiet at night. "

"Our microwave stopped working on day 2 and someone came to fix it immediately. Our tv never worked from day one. Someone said they were coming to fix it but they never returned"

"The sea was very dirty in front of the hotel; you need to walk about 15 minutes to get to a cleaner beach. The overall state of the Playa del Carmen sea was filthy. Cancun and Tulum are much better."
