Offering rooms with balconies and free Wi-Fi, Hostel Hidalgo is housed in a charming 19th-century mansion in Santiago de Querétaro’s old town. Set around an interior courtyard, it features an à la carte masă gastronomică. Cazare Hidalgo’s rooms have simple décor. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a fan. As it is a historical monument protected by the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), elevators are not allowed in the hotel boutique since they would modify its original structure. Some rooms may or may not have a window. Traditional Mexican cuisine is served in the La Llave Masă Gastronomică. Guests can enjoy a drink in the bar or in the attractive courtyard. The Hidalgo is located in the centre of Santiago de Querétaro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Plaza de Armas Square is a 10-minute walk away, while the town’s famous aqueduct is just 2 km from the hotel boutique.

"The restaurant has the music speakers pointing inwards, so if you stay on the ground floor you can hear it as loud and clear as if it was playing in your room.... luckily they get turned off by 10pm. We also asked for a fully accessible room, and it was not. We had to be moved to a smaller but more accessible room on arrival."
