"Gorgeously designed/restored building with talavera art featured throughout. The room was very spacious and beautifully appointed and though the weather wasn’t suited for it, the pool area is stunning too."

"This is an issue throughout the whole of Mexico, but the building and specifically the rooms were not at all soundproofed and with all the rooms opening to the main courtyard of the building that had a crèche, we could hear kids shouting whilst they were playing for a lot of our stay."

"The room lacked a fridge and a kettle, which we found in most other hotels. Coffee machine was a nice touch but not if you don’t drink coffee. A fridge would have been nice to chill water and drinks. Didn’t like the fact you had to make an appointment to use the pool."

"We were only here for one night and were very sorry not to be here for longer as we loved Puebla and the hotel. Rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished, the communal areas, including pool and outdoor courtyard were wonderful. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the whole place was spotless and lovingly taken care of by the staff."

"Beautifully appointed big room....nice bathroom with both the bathtub and a shower. Great restaurant on site with reasonable prices, great delicatessen store also. Lovely massage on site, pool and a jacuzzi on rooftop, but sadly, without heating, so that was a disappointment."

"Quite disappointing to note the lack of service in this establishment and absolutely no follow up when we had certain issues that needed to be resolved. Once they got your money, they do not care anymore. Sad! Small details: coffee machine in the room with only 2 pods daily, one if which was a decaf. If you wanted more, you had to pay for it-in the establishment that costs as much as it does, that is really ridiculous. No breakfast, not even a small bun-everything is alla carte and has to be paid for extra. Banging doors by the staff at all hours."

"Spacious room, very quiet considering the restaurant was always busy and we were in the first floor. The swimming pool is small but nice and great for relaxing. We absolutely loved the restaurant (amazing food)."

"only two coffee capsules for a day (one decaf)! There is a water fountain in the restaurant that we used for topping up our bottles but would be great to have more in the hotel. Also, no fridge in the room."
