"Everything about this place is amazing.The host was in easily available through phone.Provided us with a bottle of cold water upon arrival which was a bliss after a long drive.The place was exceptionally clean with an amazing view. Will defintely book again"

"Everything was very clean, spacious and there was a nice terrace. The family that runs the place is really kind."

"We both hurt ourselves with the corner cabinets when opening the doors. The place is next to the water, except there is no beach and the water is muddy. So you cannot swim there. The closest beach is far away. Since the place has a kind of ambiguous name (apt at la Gaulette) they didn’t believe us at the border control. This isn’t necessarily a negative point, but it would be nice if the apartment has a nice name on booking."

"Very spacious, clean apartment, you have everything you might need there. If you come by car, the location is perfect - close to Le Morne beach and Black River Gorges."

"What a cool spot. The entire ground floor of a beautiful house on a quiet bay that feels like the end of the world (in a good way): great sunsets! Nice patio and very nice hosts. Full kitchen if you like to cook."

"I tried to do my whole Mauritius trip without a car, but you should definitely have a rental car if you come here. There's a bus stop nearby (10-minute walk), but they discourage you from bringing luggage (since the busses are always packed). To be fair, virtually every guidebook said to tackle the south of Mauritius with a rental car, so this is on me for ignoring advice. With a rental car, this is a great spot, and the local food at the nearby snacks is great. Tranquil and way fewer tourists than Tamarin and Le Morne."
