"Good place in really good location the staff was truly nice and helpful they managed the boat trip at inle lake, the taxi, the bus tickets and also our next accommodation in Bagan"

"I have been coming to Gypsy Inn for more than a decade because I love the hospitality of this wonderful family. It is a good location if you want to be close to the pier where the boats leave to Inle Lake. The room was spacious with high ceilings and I got clean, white bed sheets and towels. Windows have mosquito nets - I had not a single mosquito in my room. You can book tours and busses to Bagan or Yangon / Mandalay at the reception. The room rates are among the best in town and it used to be THE guesthouse backpackers hung out at before NyaungShwe was flooded with hotels. Nowadays many hotels are closed but the Gypsy is still up and running. If you are on a budget and look for a familiar atmosphere then come here."
"All fine as usual. What I do not like are people complaining about that the bus booked at the hotel took longer than communicated or that there are electricity cuts. You pay a low price so no not expect generators running 24/7 - especially not with these high gasoline prices. This is Burma - be flexible!"

"The management team was excellent. They were most helpful for everything we needed (bus booking, lake trip booking, etc). I got sick the last day and they allowed us a late check out for a very reasonable price, and the manager even went to buy some fruit as I couldn’t eat other things."

"C'est proche du canal pour prendre le bateau le patron nous a aidé à trouver un batelier pour un prix descent afin de visiter le lac. Les chambres sont confortables et bon marché en plus on a une salle de bain privée. Nous sommes proche de la Grand-Rue où il y a beaucoup de petits restaurants."

"Приехали в 6 утра. Нас встретили. Мы оставили вещи и уехали на экскурсию. Персонал очень дружелюбный, всегда готовы помочь. Есть сотрудник, который говорит по-русски. Везде чисто, бельё свежее, вода горячая, кондиционер. Дают шампуни и зубную щётку. Помогли с билетами на автобус и заказом такси. Wi-fi хороший."

"Gazdele sunt oameni minunați, de o blândețe și o generozitate extraordinare. M-am simțit ca acasă, înconjurat de propria mea familie. În fiecare clipă a șederii mele acolo, s-au preocupat să nu-mi lipsească nimic și să mă simt bine, mi-au facilitat legătura cu barcagiul care mi-a asigurat în fiecare dimineață și în fiecare după-amiază deplasările pe lac, atât pentru fotografii la răsărit și la asfințit, cât și pentru vizitarea satelor situate de jur-împrejurul lacului."
