Located in 17th and 19th century connected buildings, guests can choose between confort premiumurious chandeliers, high ceilings, historical engravings, paintings and antique furniture in one part of the unitate de cazare and 300-year old wooden balks, sloping floors and lower ceilings in the other. Reception is open around the clock and personnel will arrange tea, coffee, flowers, tickets to events, tour guides and taxis for each guest. A conference hall with terrace can be booked in advance for different events at an extra charge. Spațiu Balneoțiu De Luat Masas and pubs, Central Market and Stores, as well as museums and National Opera are within a few minutes’ walking distance from Reședință Turistică Gutenbergs. Secured parking place is located 300 metres away, but Riga International Airport is 10 km away.

"Hotelul este situat în centrul vechi al orașului, cu acces facil la obiectivele relevante din Riga. Prin design/dotări camerele au un aer desuet, iar atmosfera generală este una caldă, primitoare, aspect la care contribuie și recepționerii - mereu zâmbitori și foarte comunicativi."

"Unique room in an old part with very tilted floor - interesting and unusual attraction. Good beds. Clean. Very helpful people working - we got very nice suggestions for things to do and restaurants to visit. Very good location. Nice with beetroot salat for breakfast and some other local thing that we did not know what it was :)"
"We were sleeping window open and could hear other guests leaving hotel very early, but it's mostly the problem of those other guests, I suppose. I'd also wish more dairyfree healthy alternatives for breakfast. It would also be nice if cooked eggs would still be warm. And would be easier if all things served would have information labels e.g. it was not written if there was milk in scrambled eggs, there was no information that one of the drinks was kombucha and some other whitish food had no information about what it was :)"

"Only one thing was a little weird, that we had feeling that the mattress that we had in room 407 has time to be changed :))) we slept like in de hole :))) from 4 o clock in the morning we could not sleep anymore because had that uncomfortable feeling that pillow is too high because of the hole in de mattress. Another thing was that we went to the restaurant above to have a coffee, but we had to take these to the room because there was too much smoke from the kitchen like a fog and hair and cloth were very fast smelling like old deepfryer."
