Deschis în 2008, Reședință Turistică Edvards este un reședință turistică de familie amplasat într-o locație liniștită din centrul orașului Riga, la doar 3 străzi de zona istorică a orașului. Centrul de Congrese din Riga este la doar 600 de metri, iar Arena Riga se află la 2 km de proprietate. Este oferit WiFi gratuit. Camerele de la Edvards sunt amenajate în culori calde. Fiecare dintre ele are TV prin cablu, minibar și baie privată cu duș și încălzire prin pardoseală. Hotelul servește în fiecare dimineață micul dejun și oferă cafea, ceai și alte băuturi pe tot parcursul zilei. Datorită locației hotelului, oaspeții pot ajunge cu ușurință la muzeele și galeriile de artă din apropiere, la Sala Skonto și la Arena Riga, precum și la magazine, restaurante și cafenele la modă. Hotelul este așezat într-o clădire din secolul al XIX-lea care a fost renovată în 2008, păstrând stilul arhitectural istoric, dar creând facilități moderne și unități de cazare confortabile, cu o ambianță primitoare. Monumentul Libertății se află la 750 de metri.

"Great stop at this excellent hotel. Friendly staff who were most helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and covered the basic needs for a stop. Excellent bed. Breakfast was also first rate with plenty of choice. Secure parking for our motorcycles. A good hotel which we would use again."

"Great location in the centre, pretty simple and charming hotel, friendly staff. Great value for the money and no nonsense. The facade is not on the street, but rather inside the block, and the windows are good so you can’t hear the street noise, it was super quiet and peaceful during my stay."
"Rooms look a bit dated, but it is not too bad and even gives it that authentic Riga feeling. The fan in the bathroom is running all the time, but this seems to be standard in Riga (had the same issues in all other hotels I've been to there, including large chains with newly remodeled rooms)."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
