"Absolut totul a fost perfect. De la primire si pana la plecare absolut tot resortul si serviciile au fost exceptionale. Personalul din receptie, bucatarul sef si managerul general au fost extraordinari, tot timpul printre clienti si foarte atenti la nevoile lor. Recomand cu caldura hotelul UGA BAY pentru oricine ajunge in Sri Lanka, indiferent de scopul vizitei. O vacanta foarte reusita."

"Our whole stay was amazing. I liked the room; it was very spacious and clean, and there were always enough amenities for 2 people. The room was just a few steps from the beach. The beach was also clean, and the pool was excellent. A small buffet selection, but the food was superb. I liked the Sri Lankan Cuisine and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was nice. Overall, it was a great 3 nights."
"However, the sports room was upstairs. It was required to request the white billiard ball from reception. Had to cover the billiard table after use. It is also stated that if the cover is damaged, a fine of Rs 12000 will be imposed."

"Would’ve preferred if the costs were in rupees or at least had the service charges and taxes included in prices. We also found the lady who seemed to be the manager a little too forthcoming with wanting us to spend money and visibly showed disappointed when we went elsewhere for dinner."

"Everything perfect except the dining experience. Didn’t really fit with calibre of hotel and the idyllic setting. Plastic Coke and water bottles on most tables. For us personally musical entertainment throughout dinner seemed inappropriate for the location. Wine prices very high for Sri Lanka 5 star hotel."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."
