"This property is great value for money. The location is fantastic, right on the beach and lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. We borrowed a snorkel and walked 5 mins to see turtles on the beach. Nimesh was a kind host and was available when needed."

"The only issue was a restaurant nextdoor playing music until about 23:30. We spoke to the restaurant and they turned the music down second night."

"The loation of this property is incredibly you can see both Parrot rock and coconut hill and the property is located in the middle of them. It was a highlight of my stay being able to see them both from outside my room. The host was very friendly and gave me lots of information on the area when checking in which was super helpful."

"The restaurant/ bar around the property played music loudly until 11.30/12am which made sleeping difficult i could also hear the people next door having conversation very clearly. I sleep with ear plugs in and could hear both of these even with them in so that would be something to be wary of. But I would still stay here again because of its location."

Unreal location - you can step right out of your room and onto the beach, plus you’re surrounded by all the best restaurants. "Wow! This place was the perfect spot which was the envy of all who passed by, the photos do not do it justice. Mirissa was a chaotic place and we definitely wouldn’t not have enjoyed our stay as much if we weren’t staying here. The Beachfront access was amazing and the newly-installed air conditioning in our rooms was a pleasant surprise. However, the best thing about our stay was our host Nimesh. Nimesh was incredibly friendly, helpful and personable. He gave us great advice about the area and was always free for a friendly chat. He helped us do our laundry for a great price too. Our only regret was not being able to go fishing with him due to the wind. Next time!"

"The property is beautifully located right on the waterfront and close to many great restaurants. The room is very comfy and reasonably priced. But one of its best features is its host Nimesh, who is so friendly, helpful and the best host. He can organise many services and also if weather and season is right can prepare freshly caught fish."

"Payment by CASH only was a big pain, as we did not get much cash thinking card payment would be accepted (as foreign travellers visit this place often). It looks like the hotel takes in cash to avoid the card tax but this is very inconvenient for travellers. In emergency, there is no alternate contact numbers that you can call, except one guy's. The homestay/villa should have multiple numbers of contact. and atleast one should be available 24/7."

"Best people. Family run. Views that are straight out of a movie. Comfy homely rooms maintained like 5 star hotels. If you're in Nuwara Ellya, you absolutely have to consider living here."

"The road to the house is a little steep. However, it's not a big deal if you have your own vehicle or the host will manage one for you. You can hike too since it's a mountain destination. However, the view you get in the morning makes it all worth it!"
