"We chose the place for a longer stay (4 nights) and didn't regret it. The room was extremely clean when we arrived and the whole place was always kept clean. It was nice to spend time there, at the pool or just chilling outside. The room was very comfortable, there was a space to unpack your stuff. The beach is just a few minutes from the Villa, and you could use the beach towels from the place, and use the outside dryer after. It's not in the center of Bentota (which we actually liked) but you can walk (18 min to the train station and some restaurants) or take a tuk-tuk. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in the villa (just a few rooms there) and the host was very friendly and helped us do laundry or organize the river safari. It was one of our best accommodation in Sri Lanka 👌🏼"
"The villa is near the street so if you have a light sleep it's better to have earplugs (loud busses go through this street). The room isn't big so without an AC or a fan it gets very stuffy."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."
