"In primul rand vremea, dar nu este vina hotelului. A plouat toate cele 2,5 zile. Un alt minus, nu ai unde merge sa mananci in alt restaurant si raman singura ta obtiune. Cei care se ocupa de servire sunt niste copii fara experienta. In toate zilele, indiferent ce comandai( de baut sau mancat), la o masa de 5 persoane, toate veneau pe rand. Aduceau bautura pentru o persoana si ceilalti 4 asteptam sa ne bucuram impreuna de bauturi, la fel si cu mancarea. Nu stiu daca este chiar un mare minus, dar din punctul meu de vedere asta ar putea fii inbunatatit foarte usor."

"We loved our stay at Elephant Trail. The property is in a beautiful location with views out over nature. Everybody who works there is wonderful, and very helpful. A big thank you to Nadun and Indunil at reception, and to the excellent team in the restaurant. The property is clean and friendly. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and all of our meals were exceptional. I’m a vegetarian and there was an excellent variety of choices for me. We had a fun time in the swimming pool, and the hotel arranged our morning safari. It was amazing! We saw elephants and a crocodile and monkeys and loads of birds including hornbills, kingfishers and bee eaters! Wow, what an incredible experience. Thank you everybody, Elephant Trail has a lot of heart and soul. Highly recommended."

"I had a lovely stay. It's perfect for 1 night. I arrived in the early afternoon and was able to enjoy the afternoon swimming and eating lunch at the swimming pool. In the evening I went to the elephant orphanage feeding and early the next morning I did an elephant safari, which is quite close by. They packed a breakfast for me to take on safari. Dinner in the restaurant was also good. The room was large and had a fridge. Everything was great, especially considering the reasonable price."

"Very convenient for 2 nights before/after safari. Close to park entrance and they organised our safari (they partner with Niluka Safari company) with a great guide. I also asked them to arrange our transport from Mirissa the day before and to Ella the day after. Easy and no problem. Good and timely written communication in the app. Nice pool after a hot safari day. Wide selection of Western and Asian food at the restaurant, convenient to have this on site because the hotel is a bit out of town and we didn’t feel like going our again, good rice & curry and leave space for the incredible banana fritters ;-)"

"It’s a bit run down, missing plugs (has to use the TV plug) and you can hear your neighbours snore through the balcony doors that don’t close fully."
