"The location was perfect for us with wonderful views of the lake. Relaxing environment with nature all around. Staff were super helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Pool was a welcomed relief from the heat. Rooms were comfortable and we loved the windows all around to get the best views. The property had a sweet natured dog and her puppy, which was incredibly cute. Breakfast was tasty too."

"Spacious room with own access. Plenty parking. They open the gate when you arrive or want to leave, even if you go for the safary at 4:30 in the morning. Option to have dinner there (we did not try). They have the cutest little dog running around. Staff is friendly. Good view over the lake from a bench and from the room."

"Pool was dirty and not properly filled, so no filtration. Not a lot to do close by, luckily we had own transport. Not all outlets where fixed properly or in good working order."

"We had a wonderful welcome to Breezy Lake and Laschi was a great host (she even got me a birthday cake). The gardens are great and the view of the lake is lovely - we saw a good variety of birds in the grounds as well as a mother and baby mongoose and a rabbit. There is a lovely sized pool which my wife really enjoyed swimming in each day. The room was big and airy and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was nice with a good shower."

"It would have been nice to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Be sure to take a good insect repellent for sitting out as there are mosquitoes but this is obviously due to the habitat - they were not a problem inside."

"Lovely room with gorgeous bathroom and big comfy bed. Great view over the lake. Overall nice atmosphere and helped us book a safari last minute."

"We couldn’t use the pool as it wasn’t clean, we were told several times it would be ready within half an hour, by day three when we left it still wasn’t clean to swim in. There was no chef so food options were limited, breakfast was ok but the packed breakfast for our safari was old bread and a banana. The manager was trying to be helpful but at many times gave us wrong information, and even lied to us when organising transport to the next town. She told us toll would be included in the price, when the driver came she said he wouldn’t take the express route as it was slower than the normal route. This was simply a lie and set us up to an argument with the driver which wasn’t our fault and made us feel uncomfortable. There were many occasions where things changed last minute and it felt like excuses were made and money wasn’t handled correctly."

"The hosts were amazing, very warm and welcoming, they offered us a juice and mangos and gave us a lot of usefull tips. The rooms are spacious and beautyfull, have all you need and are very clean. You can relax in a pool area."
