"Very friendly and educated host. He gave a lot of valuable insights on the city and beyond. Excellent location right in the centre of the city with many currency exchange offices right at outside the building. It is a flat type hotel with a private bathroom and kitchen. Well thought through power sockets and stable wifi connection at least in my room, which was enough for video calls. Nice wide double bed."

"Street was loud at night with open window, but there is an aircon, so window can be kept closed. No elevator. But overall im very satisfied with my choice."

"I would really recommend this place as an easy stay in the centre of shymkent. The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. The host was very kind and even picked us up from the train station. It was good to have a small kitchenette with fridge in the room. The room provides slippers and toiletries. There are the basic kitchen necessities likes cups, plates and cutlery, a kettle and 2 hobs."

"We enjoyed our stay overall but for light sleepers, make sure you bring a sleeping mask and ear plugs. The walls are thin and you can hear the people in other rooms, and also the road outside. The blinds are thin too and let in the bright city lights outside. There were quite a lot of flies in our room when we arrived. They came from somewhere else though as room was clean."

"The manager was a nice person. He let me do a late check out. I was able to use the washing machine with no additional charge which was helpful. The room was big enough and comfortable. Good location as well."

"This place is good. It is really in the city center. The room was good enough at this price. The window opens at the main road where you can enjoy the road scene. Many branded coffee shops are around the location where you can have breakfast. At the same time many good food traditional restaurants are around in one kilometer walking radius. Grocery stores are all around the location. Money exchangers are all around. Bus stops are around. The location was with a 25 minute taxi from the airport. The negative side of what I found is there is no sitting lounge available or common community area. But I like it with this money."
