"The place has so much character. Very well designed, an old historic hanok with modern conveniences. Very comfortable. Beautiful bed sheets, comfortable bed and even provided us with free bread and juice. Great communication from owner. You are perfectly located to see the central sites."

"The owner carefully arranged the house for our arrival and left us some tasty snacks for breakfast. Everything was clean, and the functioning of the devices was well explained so we could stay in comfortably. Also, the location couldn't be better to hit all of the touristic spots. Booking ElHouse is expensive, but you won't probably find another whole hanok as modernised and pretty as this one."

"We would have preferred more garbage bags left at the house. If there were actually more, at least we couldn't find them. As they were, the bins felt small and not enough for a two-night stay."

"Hanok "El House" is the best accommodation we have experienced in Korea. Everything is perfect: comfort, calm, design and decoration, clearly a luxury hanok. In addition, while being quiet in a small alley, it is very close to places of interest, restaurants. The landlady is very caring."

"Accogliente, luminosa posizione perfetta nel centro della città. Spazi ampi, giardino stupendo con vasca esterna. Anche se nel centro città con locali nelle vicinanze la struttura risulta molto silenziosa."

"Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt . Man kann zu Fuß die wichtigsten Attraktionen Gyeongjus erreichen und ist mitten im Ausgehviertel. Viele gute Restaurants, Bars und Cafés sind in weniger als 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, ebenso mehrere Covenience Stores. Die Ausstattung ist liebevoll und sehr umfassend. Das Bett ist komfortabel auch für Besucher aus dem Westen. Absolut "Top" sind zwei Punkte 1. Extrem schalldichte hochwertige Fenster die einen perfekt vom nächtlichen Rauschpegel des Ausgehviertels isolieren 2. Ein großzügiger privater Innenhof, der im Sommer sehr gemütlich ist. Die online Betreuung durch den Host ist extrem zuvorkommend, Nachrichten wurden innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet."

"Alles hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir würden beim nächsten Besuch unbedingt wieder dort übernachten, aber man sollte sich auf ein paar Details vorbereiten: 1. Der Parkplatz ist ca. 150 Meter entfernt und die Adresse der Einfahrt ist sowohl bei Google, Apple als auch dem Hyundai Navigationssystem knapp verschoben, was das präzise Finden der Einfahrt massiv erschwert. Man muß etwas Geduld aufbringen und mehrere Versuche mit längeren Umfahrten wegen der Einbahnstraßen starten. 2. Regionaltypisch wird Toilettenpapier nicht in der Toilette, sondern im Mülleimer entsorgt 3. Es fehlen, vor allem für längere Aufenthalte etwas lästig, Schrankflächen, man muß - trotz des großen Grundrisses - "aus dem Koffer" leben. 4. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten sowohl drinnen, als auch im schönen Innenhof sind gut &praktisch, aber nicht bequem ....das mindert den Reiz des Verweilens. Ich würde dem Vermieter empfehlen neue Sitzmöbel zu kaufen. 5. Das Waschtisch ist ist etwas beengt ,man kann fast keine Toilettenartikel direkt abstellen. Keiner der Punkte ist wirklich ein großer Nachteil, aber man muß sich darauf einstellen."
