"The house was gorgeous and absolutely spotless! It had everything we needed and more! The sake and design museum are just down the road - which was excellent! And if you have a car and you want to get out of the city, the location makes this exceptionally easy. Getting into the centre of town takes a bit more effort if you're not driving in but it's honestly worth it for such a great place to stay. Would very happily stay again in the future!"

"A great place to stay when you are visiting Asahikawa. Located in a quiet but safe neighbourhood. The interior is well fitted and clean. Everything works! The washing machine automatically adds detergent - that’s cool. You have your own parking lot in front of the house. The air conditioning is strong for summer. I highly recommend this place. Thumbs up!"

"Apartment is spacious and well equipped with all necessities. It’s quiet at the same time located within walking distances to shops and convenience stores. The house is beautifully decorated. The living area and kitchen are huge and the 3 bedrooms are enough for our family of 5."

"What a great find! Free standing house just only a block from the main road. The house is absolutely spotless, and we felt like home as soon as we walked in. The host had heated the house for our arrival. If you have a car, you can park right out the front in the driveway. The kitchen was large and had the facilities we needed. I would definitely rent here again when coming back to this area."

"The location is great for road-tripping families or crews aiming to hit the surrounding ski areas. There is heaps of room (we slept 6 comfortably and could have fit a couple more), and the lounge and shared space is great for hanging out. Lots of heating available, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking facilities and the laundry is perfect for groups with good drying results. Internet is good and TV in the lounge lets you log in to Netflix - if that's your thing. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby also so you can get meals or basic food supplies if you need them. Beds are SUPER comfy and bathroom and toilet are great. Nice art and vibe to come home and relax in after a day of adventuring. The host is great and very responsive if you have any issues (we had an issue with the internet connection at first - Maruko arrived in a flash to rescue our teenagers from terminal boredom :D)"

"There is only one bathroom and toilet - not sure if there is an extra closed off (a couple of obvious doors are locked). There was a bit of ice between the driveway and the front porch that was a bit tricky to navigate - but made for some funny moments :D"
