Located on a hill with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, the family-run B&B U Palmentu offers free WiFi and is built on 3 floors, each one with a terrace. "Personalul a fost prietenos. Locatia are o priveliste superba, dar este putin departe de centrul orasului, pentru ca trebuie sa treci de foarte multe scari obositoare."

"The apartment was in an amazing location, with a view of Mount Etna from the balcony, and we could see the coast on both sides of Taormina at the same time. It was fantastic to wake up there. Communication with the owners was seamless. The only downside was that it actually took a while to get to town, due to very steep stairs, or less steep but quite long ones. Despite this, I think it was worth it. Thanks to the high altitude, the views were amazing and we didn't feel so much like we were in touristy Taormina. You can also easily access the trail to Castelmola. The longer descent down the road was also very pleasant, as there were many nice properties, shops, and a bar/café along the way."

"Fantastic views. Once parked the access to Taormina was fine - we enjoyed the walk down the the stairs and back. Nice terrace and fairly quiet."

"Perfect location with really nice view. Clean and the host responsive. We had an issue with the ants on the terrance but they handle it fast."
"I would say that there are a lot of ants and bees on the terrace, one if the ants bit my husband, but the host spread some pesticides so we could eat in the morning. Appreciated."
"Amazing view and the location, it’s worth nothing there is a considerable walk/hike from Taormina but the view is everything, really nice tidy rooms. The staff was very helpful and friendly."

"The hotel has a great view, situated on a hill with a beautiful panorama visible from the balcony. Two chairs are thoughtfully placed on the balcony so you can sit and enjoy the scenery. The room was very clean and well-maintained. I can't say much about transportation options because I arrived on foot from Taormina. There are approximately 540 steps to climb. If you're planning to arrive on foot rather than by car, it's something to keep in mind. After climbing the stairs, you’ll be greeted by a charming church and a stunning city view. From there, the hotel is just a 1–2 minute walk away. The owner provides all the necessary information via Booking.com, which made check-in easy and smooth."
