"This is a small hotel in a superb location with colourful gardens and excellent views. The friendly and hard working staff were extremely helpful, and the owner Primus met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel, for a pre-arranged fee. This made our arrival so much easier and stress free. He also arranged car rental for us which was excellent value. There's a nice lounging area overlooking the bay, good for watching sunsets, and a refreshing pool. Home cooked food available lunch and dinner, as well as breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed a most memorable and relaxing stay."

it was not really easy to find because there were no signs or something like this, but all the business next to her were nice and immediately recognized that we were searching the hotel and they helped us.

As for the staff, they will do anything possible to make your stay pleasant. And then of course there is Erick, the man who will organize everything for you, from the amenities of your room to your excursions to the ruins. Zapote Tree Inn immensely exceeded my expectations."

As I enter the room, there is a strong smell of smoke. They need to ensure that the room is properly ventilated so that the smoke odour doesn't linger. Additionally, they don't provide soap or shampoo in the bathroom. It can also be quite exhausting to stay in a hotel with steep stairs and no elevator.
